What originally drew us to Austin Signature Homes was their body of work having been in the custom home business in the Denver area for decades. We have admired their homes and had heard only great things about working with them. This was all true for our new home and so much more. The principal, Craig Austin, was very involved in every aspect of the build. Having been in the business for many years, he has amassed amazing resources and relationships with the best subcontractors available. This was important working through permitting, inspections, and other complications that always arise in these projects. Craig was consistently responsive and a great collaborator. He finished the project on time, and we always knew where we were from a budget perspective. Craig made the building process very easy for us and I would recommend Austin Signature Homes without hesitation.

After many years away, we were finally able to move back to Colorado. We bought a beautiful lot and chose Austin Signature Homes to build our house. Our experience with Craig at ASH was amazing, from beginning to end. The lot we chose was challenging to build on due to a lot of bedrock and where our house needed to be placed on the property. I’m sure this caused many headaches for Craig, but he made sure that none of these issues became headaches for us. We always felt like our home was his #1 priority. Because Austin Signature Homes has been in business for over 50 years, they have a great reputation and workers that are very loyal. Once they broke ground on 11/1/24, I can’t remember a day when there weren’t trades working diligently on our home, even into the night with head lamps, and during inclement weather. Their attention to detail was amazing and Craig made sure we stayed on budget. We moved into the house in mid-May, less than eight months after they broke ground. Our home is beyond our wildest dreams. It’s just gorgeous. We couldn’t be happier.

Craig is one of the best decisions we made when rebuilding our home following the Marshall Fire. He was the first builder we spoke to, and that was just 3 days after the fire when we were still in a state of shock. We interviewed a few other builders and ultimately chose to hire Austin Signature Homes. Craig is honest and incredibly communicative (something that is so important in any home build). He also kept to budget and worked really hard to do that. The home he built for us is very nice and well built. Craig has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the construction industry. My husband and I had a great experience buying from Austin Signature Homes. We bought a beautiful spec home in the Washington Park neighborhood. We love the layout and all of the modern, yet homey finishes. We bought the home with a 1-year builder warranty. There have been no major issues and the few minor things have been addressed with the highest priority, often resolved in 1-2 days. It is with extreme pleasure that we write this review for Austin Signature Homes. Austin Signature Homes helped us build our forever dream home not just a beautiful house. From the first meeting that we had with Craig, we were confident that he was a knowledgeable and trustworthy professional who could help us build the quality house we wanted within our budget. We came to our first meeting with an architectural plan that we had already created. He advised us and walked us through the process in order to make slight changes to stay within budget. We do recommend meeting with him before having an architectural plan, if possible, as he would have given us clearer guidance in the process. Throughout the whole process we were kept informed, felt that there was total transparency, and we could discuss all issues to make informed decisions with his guidance. Joanne kept impeccable notes on all meetings and used her long-standing relationships with vendors and contractors to advocate for us. Her wealth of knowledge and experience helped us make every detail of our house perfect. Scott kept all contractors on schedule and true to their promises. He was quick to contact contractors about start dates, deadlines and quality. Both Joanne and Scott came to the house regularly to check on the progress and catch any mistakes before they became bigger issues. This team balances and complements each other perfectly to create a seamless front. They are not only amazing builders but have become part of our family. Their professionalism put us at ease during what can normally be a very stressful time. Their high ethical standards and ability to advocate for us made a very large project manageable, and even enjoyable. Their attention to detail and true passion for building is evident in every inch of our home. We are so grateful that we met and hired Austin Signature Homes.

We hired Craig and his team to build our new home in Cherry Hills. After interviewing multiple builders, we felt that Craig and his team would give us the service we wanted throughout the 2 year project. Craig provided us with a budget and timeline that was more than reasonable to build what we wanted. Due to our own choices, we spent more money than Craig's budget. When you start adding elevated structural basement slabs, custom doors, t/g stained soffits, custom staircases, stone walls throughout the interior, Sub Zero/Wolf vs Thermador appliances, slab backsplashes and a totally separate pool cabana. Early on Craig knew I was gonna blow up his budget and as a homeowner I knew it would have been impossible for anyone to foresee the extras I was willing to spend money on. We found that Craig and his team have a very big black book of trades they work with. Which is awesome when it comes to competitive pricing on trades. They are also able to explain to you when it might be better to spend a little extra dollars to get a larger subcontractor to finish something faster (like foundations and framing)(we highly recommend Mike Bushee Construction for the framing). This is the type of communication you need from a builder. We were very pleased with the suppliers he works with: JM Kitchen & Bath (Julie), Specialty Appliance, Smalley and Co, Rio Grande, Colorado Tile, Miters Touch (Billy), Granite and Marble Designs (Stephanie) and I'm sure a ton more I'm forgetting throughout the process. Throughout the entire process Craig and the main superintendent for our project (Heidi) dealt with everything (include me, the picky homeowner). Their attention to detail is awesome and if there was something we saw as homeowners that didn't look right, they would correct it or explain why it was done a certain way. This is the type of personal attention you want when building a custom house. My recommendation of Craig and his team to anyone is high. You need a builder that understands what you're trying to accomplish and has the vision, expertise and experience to get it done.

Craig and team, I wanted to thank you for taking on our new construction build in transition. We pinch ourselves daily and just could not be happier with every aspect of the house. Were there hick ups? A few, but that is to be expected in a custom home build. No question, we made the right decision partnering with Austin Signature Homes. I know I pushed back and challenged you and your team a bit but I do feel you had our best design and financial interest at hand throughout the build and that was appreciated. When we finally decided to build our dream home in Denver, we knew we were going to give Craig Austin a call. We had seen his work in the area over the years and we knew he delivered a quality custom home. From start to finish, he is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to all aspects of the home building process - permitting, working with our architect to finalize plans, paying attention to details during the construction process etc. He was able to provide a realistic budget and timeline so we felt on target during the project. His entire team was great to work with and we really have no complaints other than we don't get to build with them again!

We benefited from 50 years of supplier relationships to receive the best pricing and service from the suppliers, always negotiating an even better deal on our selections. We had access to an award winning architect who quickly provided solutions, designs, and ensured its functionality. The project manager kept us fully informed of pricing and schedule along the way and there were no surprises, just pleasant outcomes. We had ample time and support to make decisions and keep the project on schedule. The team worked together to quickly address every question and concern. The project supervisor was on-site daily to facilitate across all of the contractors, ensure daily progress, and protect the property. We felt like the only client and top priority throughout the entire project and afterwards. Austin lived up to every expectation and were patient, flexible, and always available. They were advocates for us through every phase from architecture and permitting through financing and interior design. The schedule and budget were managed so efficiently that we were able to build more square footage, finishing, and options than initially planned. The Austin team are fabulous people and a great company. We love the house and our neighbors were pleased with the process and outcome.
