I worked with Ana and her team on several projects for our home over a few years, including a gut renovation of our basement, and a complete redesign of our first and second floors. Over the course of this time, Ana has helped us to transform our 100 yr old home into a place that feels truly unique and reflective of our personal style, while also being a practical, livable home for our family. The overall design and specific pieces that selected for our home are beautiful and interesting, and the materials fully considered our young children. Ana worked within our budget and was comfortable incorporating the pieces we already had and planned to keep - other designers we spoke with would not do this. In addition, Ana happily provided input into outdoor projects and art purchases that were not part of the projects we did with her, but where I asked for her input to ensure items/colors I selected were consistent with the overall design of our home. We get so many compliments on our home from visitors and would work with Ana again for future projects.

I recently decided to hire a designer to redecorate my condo with bright colors and a few pieces of modern furniture. Ana Donohue was recommended to me by a friend, and Ana hit it out of the park!! Ana has a wonderful imagination and color sense, fabulous taste, and she listened and helped me figure out what I wanted. She had great suggestions about carpets, wallpapers, fabrics and furniture and everything looked great together and there is a sense of fun as well as sophistication about the design. Ana even let me tag along with her to the Design Center to select some of the fabrics and carpets we used. She's fun to work with!! And I love the results of her design work in my condo!! I searched through numerous interior designers' websites and thought I would never find a designer whose work resonated with me. I was relieved to discover Ana Donohue Interiors. Even better, Ana and her team are a joy to work with. She understood our vision and worked within our budget. When a large purchase arrived and we didn't like the color, she immediately addressed the issue and collaborated with us on a unique approach that we loved. We partnered with Ana for the entire renovation of our first floor. When we decide to renovate the second floor, we will unquestionably work with Ana on that project. She's fantastic.

Ana designed my husband's office and my living room. They are now our favorite rooms in the house! We are grateful that Ana listened to our needs and created rooms that are perfect for us. We have three sons, so the living room needed to be able to take a beating but still look amazing. Perfect on both counts! My husband's office is bright and modern and we are really happy with it, too. Ana's staff is easy to work with and she is fun and creative. Two thumbs up!

Ana Donahue and her team helped us to decorate both a city condo and a home in Stowe Vt. We intitally interviewed three designers but picked them because we liked their ideas and are they seemed easy to work with. We loved what they did with both homes. In some ways, they pushed us out of our comfort zones and we are thankful they did. We are very pleased with the results and could not have gotten there without them. We would use them again without hesitation.

Ana is amazing! She helped decorate and furnish three rooms in our new home plus the foyer and new light fixtures in other rooms. I do not enjoy decorating or furniture selection and felt overwhelmed thinking about furnishing/decorating a new home. I was also concerned that we might not have a big enough budget to work with such an accomplished designer. Ana was able to completely transform our home within our budget. Ana’s personality was a perfect fit for us. She is down to earth (calming for those who find this stuff stressful!) and takes control of all aspects of the process. She coordinates all ordering and vendors. Her staff is amazing. It was a very low stress and fun process. In terms of the style, Ana completely nailed it! We couldn’t be happier with our new home. It is beautiful, unique and totally "us". We still can’t believe that this beautifully decorated house is ours! I would not hesitate to hire Ana again to help with our next design project.

I worked with Ana on two different occasions. First she helped me finish my dining room… I had my furniture and needed to accessorize the room. She did an amazing job with brilliant ideas, keeping my taste in style in mind all throughout the project. Secondly, she designed my master bath and a powder room. Again, I love the fact that Ana is not afraid to use color; I like bold colors and prints and she helped me select amazing colors and curtains for my powder room and helped to create an absolute sanctuary in the master bath. From an administrative perspective- she is on time and stayed on budget and I appreciated her timely responses. She is GREAT to work with and I can’t wait to re-do another room with her!

Ana was tasked with redecorating my living and dining room area to include some new furniture, window treatments, lighting and painting. Some existing pieces of furniture were recovered. I wanted an updated, fresh and contemporary look. Ana listens, quickly understood my taste and worked with me to guide and stretch my esthetic. She is patient, always very professional and has impeccable taste with lots of ideas. The quality of work of her vendors was excellent. She quickly resolved any problems that arose. Most importantly, I absolutely love the final product.

We hired Ana to remodel our master bath and living room. Always professional and respectful of our needs and wants while at the same time working within our budget. Awesome to work with!

Ana was collaborative, responsive and very quickly learned my personality and aesthetic. As a result, I found her incredibly trustworthy with her recommendations and overall plans. She was a great partner who effectively managed all of the third party vendors (deliveries, paint, wall paper, installation) so I didn't need to worry about anything. Ana did a wonderful job decorating my Beacon Hill apartment. It was a challenging space, with small windows, low ceilings and tilting floors. I'm so pleased with how it turned out. It is now an elegant and relaxing space. She selected colors that minimized the low ceilings and decorated it in a way that gave the apartment a comfortable but still updated feel. Ana was also great at re-using pieces that I already owned, and at finding inexpensive artwork and knick knacks that really tied the whole place together. (This was a real plus since it helped keep the cost down!) Finally, she was terrific to work with. I sometimes find decorators to be snobby and intimidating, but in addition to being very creative, Ana has a wonderful, low-key and warm personality. I highly recommend her.

I have been working with Ana Donohue for almost a year now. She is a tremendous talent, great listener and has such an amazing creative eye. I searched, on Houzz, for a designer who is comfortable with color and Ana has not steered me wrong. I am very pleased with Ana and her team, they are quick to respond and follow through is prompt with a true desire to make me happy. We asked Ana to design/decorate our family room and entry way. She just finished the project and the results are amazing! We are thrilled with how everything came out and are so glad that worked with her. I have been working with Ana for a few months and have found her to be a joy to work with. She is always thinking of new ideas for her clients and quickly understands their style as well as their functional needs. She is incredibly responsive via email and generous with her time. She has a great eye and is able to utilize existing pieces and also mix and match higher end pieces with more budget friendly pieces to create impact and a cohesive, pulled together look. This was my first experience working with a designer and I couldn't have asked for a better one.

Ana was absolutely amazing! Ana did a very good job of mixing materials to bring the look and feel that I wanted all together. Upon a friend’s recommendation, I hired the services of Ana Donohue to redecorate my 2 bedroom, 1,300sqft. apartment in the Boston Back Bay. I wanted a contemporary and fresh look to a traditional space. The project was to re-finish the wooden flooring, renovate part of the kitchen and bathroom area and purchase new furnishings for the entire apartment. Ana was in charge of every aspect of the project and within a short period of time realized my vision. I really enjoyed working with Ana and very much appreciated her ability to understand and develop my ideas. She maintained a calm and professional approach to handling and executing all aspects of our renovation and decoration project.

Ana made furnishing our new apartment in Boston - fun! We didn’t have a clue where to begin, as we were from overseas. Ana made the process seamless. We needed to do minor renovations and Ana was able draw the design, recommend a contractor, coordinate with the building supervisor and oversee the work in our absence. Whizzing around the Design Center selecting furniture and fabrics was the fun part for me, but then Ana took care of the details, measurements, delivery along with having her workroom make the drapes, duvets and pillows. It was very exciting to walk into a beautifully furnished apartment a few months later and begin to enjoy it immediately. Ana truly took away all the stress and made it a great experience. I am looking forward to working with Ana again very soon on another project.

Photographing Ana Donohue's completed interiors is a wonderful experience. Having worked with Ana for over four years now, I am always excited to see what Ana's projects look like. They always photograph well as Ana's attention to detail, quality and above all good design aesthetic, make photographing her work that extra special. The day of a photo shoot can be exciting and also a lot of work to pull together those final touches to make a space photo ready. Ana has always impressed me by including her clients in those final steps. Ana's clients, end up enjoying the day of photography as much as anyone as ultimately the photographs we produce are about them and their homes and it's Ana's strong relationship with her clients that really make the finished photos that much better. My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with Ana Donohue Interiors for the last 5 years. We initially hired Ana and her team to help us design our Great Room. We were so pleased with the outcome that we then hired her for several other projects in that home including dining room, office and built-in's in a bedroom that had an odd layout. In all instances, Ana's work far exceeded our expectations. When we moved to an older home 2 years ago, we hired Ana to come help us redesign the entire main level of the home including the kitchen and master suite. That project is now on hold to allow us to renovate our basement (so we can move downstairs during the remodel). Since starting the basement project, Ana and her team came up with a creative way to organize the basement into distinct zones: media room with wet bar, full bath, adult lounge area and games room, gym, and child play area. She listened to everything we wanted and made sure the design fit with our style. We started the project last week and are looking forward to seeing the finished product, but have complete faith it will be as beautiful and functional as all the other projects. Ana always listened to our ideas and incorporated them into the design. She always presented us with several different options to chose from. And she always kept our budget in mind and offered us alternatives to items that we felt were too expensive.

Ana has designed almost every room in our house over the last five years. She made our house a home and she is easy and enjoyable to work with. Ana was able to really understand the feeling we wanted our home to have. I will continue to work with Ana on future projects and have highly recommended her to friends and neighbors.
