Interior design of our traditional Shaker Heights home. She designed a living room with an exquisite light tweed sofa. 2 comfortable side chairs, tables and lighting and 2 area rugs for dining and living room. I recently had Laurie over for a color consolidation on the main floor of our century home. As this was my first time with a designer, I was a bit unsure as what to expect but Laurie was very approachable, picked up on our eclectic style and we quickly got to work with ideas. I love the colors that we chose and cannot wait to get started on making the changes she suggested. She even jumped in and helped me re-stage my family room (moving furniture and rugs) for a quick design fix! I recommend Laurie and LZL and will definitely use her again for future design help. Laurie did an excellent job helping us downsize to apartment. She brings an excellent eye for color, space and refinement. When our adult children came home recently, they said Laurie brought the best of the former house into the new apartment and it feels like home. We recently did a complete remodeling of our kitchen striving for a "southwestern" look. Laurie provided excellent guidance in the selection of materials and suppliers as well as the general contractor. As the project manager, Laurie did a great job working with the general contractor to meet timeline and manage cost. Thanks to Laurie's expertise, we now have a warm, inviting kitchen.

I was moving from a large apartment to a house with almost 3x the living space. Although the new home was in reasonable shape, it needed some interior enhancements to really bring it all together. Laurie helped select the palette for the interior and the window treatments (there were none). There were clashes in styles from the previous owner. Laurie helped select wall lighting and centerpieces in a contemporary style - more consistent with my existing furnishing. It was a collaborative relationship, and I am certain that many of the things she came up with, I never would have considered. She even helped find a painter and someone to hang my artwork. The majority of the costs were for the furnishing purchased and the painting of almost the entire interior. I would highly recommend lzl interiors!
