MAPLE & PLUM

Thank goodness for Meghan from Maple & Plum! She worked with me to find my vision and was able to hone in on the details that would make my kitchen so beautiful! My "before" kitchen was all wrong...A 1922 house with some unattractive 70"s upgrade and a layout that lacked counter space and outlets. My "after" is beautiful and makes cooking and baking so much fun! Meghan is organized, professional, creative and very pleasant to spend time with. (the wallpaper on the back wall will be hung soon and the back door painted when the weather is a bit dryer!) I highly recommend Maple & Plum to guide you through the many decisions of a remodel to make your dreams come true!

We are thrilled to recommend Meghan with Maple & Plum. Our process was one that took years from start to finish, due to a number of factors and delays (nothing to do with Meghan). Meghan was understanding, patient, responsive and enthusiastic at every turn. She took two people with two very different styles and somehow melded them together beautifully. During the remodel process itself, Meghan helped to oversee the work, talked through concerns with the contractor, kept things moving, and set our expectations well. We would never have guessed the number of minute decisions that have to be made when doing a remodel - but Meghan meticulously kept track of everything. She provided selected samples based on our overarching themes, to keep things from being overwhelming. She was thoughtful about pricing and gave options for all ranges, with pros and cons of each. When the remodel had finished, we had Meghan style the rooms as a final touch, and she again exceeded expectations. Meghan has a gift - not only for working with people - but in seeing a design vision through her clients' eyes, and bringing that vision to a reality. We can't wait to find another project to work with Maple & Plum again.

Meghan helped us come up with a comprehensive design plan for our living room renovation. We are fairly hands-on clients (being designers ourselves), and Meghan was so easy to work with and provided us with the exact type of guidance we were looking for. Such a delightful experience working with Maple & Plum Interiors! From the beginning it was evident that having Meghan involved was going to make all the difference. Her keen sense of design and professional perspective made me feel like a huge burden had been lifted. My family had collected several pieces of antique furniture, Tabriz rugs and artwork that we still loved though our home was in need of a fresh and finished look. Meghan enthusiastically took on the task, being diligent, hard working, and very efficient. With a quick smile and warm manner she would navigate through the work process with ease. Now my family is spending so much more time in the lovely rooms she revamped and they bring us a true sense of such happiness and pleasure. An added bonus-Meghan is really fun company to keep!

We had a great experience with Maple and Plum. Meghan did a wonderful job finding furniture and putting the house together. I told her this was not my strength and that I needed her to do most of the picking out. She was great at this and any time we didn't like something (which was rare) she quickly looked to change or show us other options. I'd definitely recommend her. Not only does she design well she is also a fun person to work with.

Meghan was such a pleasure to work with. I went into this process not knowing how to work with a designer but she helped me work through each step in great detail. She listened to who I was and what I wanted (at least what I thought I wanted) and came back with multiple options, all very unique and very "me". We talked about budget at the front end but also worked with me during the process on options that could be cheaper or more expensive depending on where my head was at. Meghan was quick to respond to all my emails and made many trips to my house to go over her ideas. Meghan was a true professional but by the end of this process I would call her a friend.

Meghan is a very gifted individual and great fun to work with. I knew when I moved into my modern condo, after years of living in houses built at the turn of the last century, that I would need help to make my new environment interesting and homey. Meghan gave me well thought-out options for lighting, furniture, drapes, carpeting, and above all, colors. When I didn't want to deal with vendors, she would completely take over a project for me. If I wanted to be more hands on, that was OK too. Meghan is very professional and does not waste your time or her own. I would definitely recommend her to friends who are willing and able to spend a little extra on making their surroundings work in the best possible way.

We hired Meghan to help us with increasing our city condo's functionality as well as making it look and feel streamlined. She helped us determine our style, how to integrate existing pieces, and how to work in new pieces that can be used in multiple places if we chose to move in the future. After providing us with guidance and a shopping list, we had flexibility for how we wanted to get the project done. After a few purchases, Meghan helped us with the finishing touches, pulling everything together so we feel like we have an oasis in the middle of a busy city. We loved working with Meghan, she is professional, meeting deadlines and coming within or at budget. Additionally, if there was something we didn't like, she was willing to rework the design and make it so she had very satisfied customers. Finally, she impressed me the most with her practicality. She was able to find solutions for our lack of lighting, excess of city noise and our desire to keep everything low-maintenance that has left me one month later, thrilled with the work that she has done. Meghan has done a fantastic job, and we will call her for any future projects, and continue to recommend her to our friends.

I moved from a large traditional home to a modern floating home. She took the time to understand my aesthetic, the way I live and entertain. With this knowledge she went to work. Her recommendations, choices of colors and textures, her pairing of function and style were just what I needed. She met me at numerous furniture stores, commissioned an artist to make me just the right painting, and the result was better than I could have imagined.
