We called Rochelle based on the reviews alone to help with paint, flooring, lighting, countertop and other selections for a remodel of our kitchen, dining and living room. We were coming up on some deadlines and afraid of making homeowner mistakes. First Rochelle asked if it was an emergency and whether she needed to come out that day. Even though it wasn’t that urgent, she was still out quickly to help. Rochelle was great and a lot of fun to work with. She took the time to learn what we wanted to achieve and in just a few visits quickly helped us to narrow in for the key upcoming items. What we really loved was that she gave us the space to present ideas and then helped us learn what would work and what wouldn’t. For example, with our dining room chandelier, she had us pick half a dozen we liked, send her the pictures, and then together we walked through the possibilities. Thanks to Rochelle our remodel is beautiful and we enjoy it every day.

I've used Rochelle's online design service twice now, working together via telephone and photographs very effectively. She offered color suggestions for my family room walls, kitchen walls, table refinishing, and decorating as well as exterior colors for my grandparent's farm home & cabin and I was thrilled with the results. Rochelle's color guidance is spot on, she is readily available, and all for a very reasonable fee. I highly recommend Rochelle Interiors!

Rochelle did our complete kitchen remodel five years ago and now she's helping us with our bathrooms. Our kitchen is so awesome, and all of our new guests tell us so when they first walk in. We basically knew what we wanted to achieve but didn't know how to get there. She asked us a lot of clever questions that allowed her mind to see what we were seeing in our own. Then she put very specific sample recommendations in front of our eyes, which made a hazy path super clear. She helped us with those winnowed-down choices too. What you will like about Rochelle is her confidence in what she recommends, and her ability to let your eyes see what her expert eyes do. Her occupation is a blend of art and science. I'm sure there are levels of expertise in it. She truly is a Jedi master.

It has been an absolute delight the work with Rochelle on our remodel. Our house was built in 1924, so it had been “updated” many times over the years. Rochelle was able to see through all of that, and create a wonderful space. She tied in design elements throughout the home that created a cohesive flow. She is a very good listener and does not push – she wants you to be happy, not the other way around! However, she will keep you on the path. We also lived four hours away from this project. Rochelle provided excellent on-site Project Management. She dealt with the small stuff, and kept me posted on a daily basis. I am so thankful for my partnership with Rochelle! I will definitely use her services on future projects.

Look no further, Rochelle is absolutely amazing to work with! She took a very confusing process for me and kindly took the time to work around my schedule, learn my taste and determine the aesthetic of our home before she made very helpful suggestions and selections for tile for my small bathroom and for paint colors for the whole house. I was actually considering going with a lighter paint color for my walls, but after doing two different paint swatches on the wall as she suggested, I saw that she had picked out the perfect color for us. I love the neutral, warm colors of my home and the bold blue walls in the bathroom, including the tile which perfectly complements the architecture of the home. She is a ball of fire and a great joy to work with. Highly recommended!

We highly recommend Rochelle Interiors. Rochelle helped us remodel our bathrooms, choosing countertops, backsplash, faucets, lighting, mirrors, hardware for the cabinets. We wanted to keep our cabinets and floors and within those constraints she made it all flow together brilliantly. She was quick, creative, responsive, flexible but decisive. She was highly knowledgeable about the technical aspects of the job also. We’d hire her again in a heartbeat (and will for further decorating advice).

We hired Rochelle to do two projects at the same time: help us replace all furnishings (after losing everything in the CA fires) and redesign & coordinate resources for a major remodel on the new home. It was a complex job, with time & budgetary constraints and thousands of decisions. Rochelle was a godsend for us. We were undecided on interior colors and she led us on a process to make decisions quickly. The same thing occurred with bathroom fixtures. She helped settle us as a couple to make decisions not unlike a marriage counselor. Decisions that took us weeks by ourselves were distilled quickly with her techniques into a few hours or few days. Her taste in colors, placement, and fixtures were invaluable to our projects. She saved us time, and the results were great for our medium to high end house. We found her prices were well within our budget and would consider her again for future projects.

While undertaking a kitchen renovation of my 1885 one-room-schoolhouse home, Rochelle was indispensable in her support and advice. It was a scary undertaking, as two walls were knocked out by my contractor, Rochelle was calming, reassuring, and encouraging. She offered creative and practical solutions to any problems that were unavoidably encountered during the process. She saw the “big picture” was conscientious of design decisions that maintained continuity of style throughout the house. She tactfully steered some of my crazy, out-of-the-box ideas in a sensible direction. She found effective ways to reuse many of the materials that helped trim costs and contributed to the character of the space. She was always accessible, often offering over the phone advice with urgent decisions. When deciding to invest in a costly remodel, having a good designer is integral in achieving a successful outcome. I’ve been working with Rochelle going on 1 year now. She has truly been a god send during my two construction projects in Santa Rosa. She’s very responsive, available, easy to work with and ultimately she saved me money and kept me from making stupid decisions. Rochelle (Ro) was wonderful! She has an amazing sense of color and design, and she can make referrals to great resources as well. She is very direct, down-to-earth, and can think outside the box, which are assets when trying to remodel and select colors for paint, counters, etc. that blend and match. She is upbeat and enthusiastic as well.
