Samantha and her team helped me reboot my life in all honesty. Her work to set the tone and character of my new home has been invaluable. She has the right combination of a clear expert point of view while allowing her customers to incorporate their taste. All the products she's brought it have been high quality. And she has only brought in highly competent vendors. She's done custom design to create build outs for our mudroom and entertainment room and gone beyond what I thought possible.

Samantha is a wonderful designer. We are nearing the end of a major house project and are delighted with how everything looks. Two of our bathrooms were upgraded, hardwood and flooring were installed, the entire house was painted, window treatments and rugs were purchased, and backsplash was put in the kitchen. We are pleased with the great contractor and flooring company that did much of the work, and we never would have found them without Samantha's recommendation. Samantha is easy to reach and made such a big project free of much of the stress that can accompany a big upgrade. I highly recommend her.

I needed help for a major kitchen renovation. I had ideas, I had a great general contractor but didn't have a designer. A close friend of mine had used Samantha's services introduced us and I am so happy with how the project turned out. I originally hired Samantha to help with the kitchen and family room, but she basically worked with me to remodel the entire first floor. What I like the best about Samantha is that she gets to know your tastes and takes it from there. She made recommendations that I would normally not even consider but ended up loving. She also has an eye for how to best use a space and sees the potential - way before I could. She understood what I was aiming for and helped transform my house into the home I wanted.

Samantha has truly helped make my new house a home from the moment she came over to meet with me she was very organized with beautiful books containing both fabric and rug samples, photographs of furniture concepts and styles, as well as various ideas for how she'd like to approach decorating my family room area as well as the Master Bedroom which included magnificent window coverings throughout the home. She has a very keen eye for detail and exquisite taste. It was helpful for me to see and feel the fabrics and hear her perspective on different ways to decorate and make my space not only comfortable, but beautiful! Every time I entertain in my home people remark how beautiful the decor is. I gave Samantha an initial budget which also included paint work from top to bottom and she truly came through. I especially loved her approach to decorating my young son's bedroom, she knew he was a Washington Capitals hockey fan and with that in mind came up with a clever paint scheme for his unique loft space and furniture that is both handsome and functional. Samantha also has wonderful referrals for any additional work that a home may require such as closets, electrical and flooring, all wonderful and reliable people. Samantha is a very talented designer and so easy to work with, I highly recommend hiring her.

After being very overwhelmed with choosing finishes for our new build, we realized that we needed help with the furnishings. We began researching interior designers in our area. Something about the pictures of Samantha’s work on Houzz spoke to us, so we called her up. She met us at our soon-to-be-finished house and we instantly clicked. Samantha immediately went to work, making suggestions, gauging our style interests, and quickly pulled together fabrics and a plan for each room of our 1st floor – kitchen, family room, dining room, office, foyer, and powder room. Since we were moving from a smaller house to a much larger house, we needed a lot of items. Window treatments for all rooms, sofas, chairs, ottomans, coffee tables, end tables, kitchen table and chairs, stools for the island, desk, credenza, bookcases, pillows, area rugs, wall hangings, knick-knacks for shelves, and light fixtures. We didn’t realize how behind we were, but Samantha basically did the impossible - about 6 months of work in 6 weeks. After the initial rush, she also helped us with a rug and furniture for our upstairs family room. Samantha has a great eye. There were a couple of times where we second guessed her selections but once they arrived, she was totally right every time. That is when you realize you just let designers do what they do and to trust their judgement. She is professional, warm and friendly, and has the ability to match style with functionality. We get so many compliments on our house and are grateful for everything she’s done for us. As finances allow, we plan on working with her on the rest of our second floor and basement. If you are on the fence about hiring an interior designer – for projects big and small, give Samantha a call for a consultation. She makes the process fun and has access to so many vendors – we would never have come up with the things she selected for us on our own. And the time it would have taken us to pick things on our own with both of us working and two young children, I can’t even imagine. Thank you Samantha! Samantha is fantastic! My husband and I just purchased our new home and called on Samantha for help. She is down to earth, friendly and has wonderful customer service skills. Her eye for detail and ideas about design are fantastic. She looks to understand your style and then works to help you find exactly what you are looking for, within your budget. Samantha was an indispensable resource while renovating my entire house. She consulted on everything from colors and furniture layouts to fixtures and appliances. She's extremely reliable and quick to respond. Her relationships with vendors made things go smoothly and even when we had a problem with a damaged item, she was able to quickly get us a replacement. We bought a new home one year ago and after sitting bare for the year, we hired Samantha to help us get our family room and office space completed. She will design and help with as little or as much as you need. We had her help with everything from picking out paint colors and designing the best room layout, to giving us options for couches, rugs, furniture and window treatments. Samantha is excellent!
