Although the team as a whole is very creative, I wish I had partnered with Liz as she is very easy going and professional. Working with Chrissy has been a nightmare as she is very pushy and unprofessional and likes to speak down to her clients when she doesn’t understand their vision or agree to it. As an interior decor specialist, it doesn’t mean as a client our ideas for our own home shouldn’t be acknowledged because to her they are “tasteless”. Her job is to understand what we want and elevate, not tell us we have poor taste. Treshold Interiors is a go, but with Liz as your designer!

Threshold Interiors (Liz Tiesi) is simply amazing both in terms of design and in terms of execution and project management. Liz and her team transformed our new-construction Tribeca condo into a chic and tranquil home for our family. We wanted a design that was modern yet comfortable, and Liz hit it out of the park. Liz was a pleasure to work with, and we have already recommended her to our friends who have had an experience on par with ours.

Liz and Chrissy are a great team, incredibly responsive, "got" me quickly, and stayed on top of the project from beginning to end. They were great at sourcing items and giving me just the right amount of choice so I felt good about my decisions but not overwhelmed. Felt like the value for money was just right and, most importantly, I felt like they made very good use of my time. And the results are beautiful!

We hired Liz for our beach house renovation after viewing her work and reviews of her work online. It was mentioned that Liz has a keen ability to translate her client's visions into reality. This is so true!! Liz did an amazing job of executing the many ideas that we had for our home. We actually love our home more than all of the photos that initially inspired us! Liz hit the nail on the head- precisely!

I hired Threshold Interiors initially for my kitchen renovation and I was so happy with them that my project grew along the way! Liz has amazing taste, great product knowledge, was honest and realistic about timeline, met deadlines, is creative, and is extremely professional and capable. She is highly organized and is amazing at trouble shooting. I felt that she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Liz and her team listened to our needs and ideas and took it to a place that we could not have imagined on our own. We are thrilled with the the outcome. I look forward to working with Threshold Interiors again!

I love working with Liz! She is great at staying around my budget and communicating realistic timelines to me. Liz is down to earth and very easy to get along with. She is always available for any questions I have and has helped me cultivate a beautiful home.

I just wanted to take some time to write about Liz. I have had the pleasure to work with her on numerous projects and I cannot say enough how much joy it has been for me to collaborate with her & her clients. First of all, Liz is so personable that you cannot "not" like her. And then when you realize her attention to detail, her creativity, her respect and love for her clients, it is again, a joy to be around her. What I do is very specific but Liz understands the essence of products, design, and people. She is incredible with colors and materials. She listens and gives a voice to her colleagues. I met one of our common client in MA to give a cooking tutorial on her beautiful stove that Liz, the homeowner, and I designed together, and I was absolutely speechless about the entire project. Liz's styles adapts to her clients, their environment, and the "feel" they want to create to the smallest details... It is magic. She never imposes her taste, but guides people through their own vision and makes everything so simple & easy even if it is extremely intricate.. Also, she is incredibly respectful of her client's lead times and will do anything to get the job done in the time frame she has. Once again, I always love working with Liz and I think she is not only such a lovely woman, but and incredible talented designer and an overall AMAZING person. I hope to have many many more projects together.

7/17 This is my second time using Liz at Threshold Interiors and my first time working with Chrissy. I would highly recommend working with them and would do so again. They are amazing! Liz and I work very well together as she is very flexible in terms of working with a variety of styles, materials and color schemes. We have a very good back and forth where we both come up with different ideas - but she is often able to make my ideas work with supporting pieces/furnishings, which I find to be the hardest part. This was my first time working with Chrissy and I really liked having her as part of the equation - I think she and Liz make a really good team. This project was furnishing my new apartment that was part of a new development in Brooklyn Heights (vs the prior job which was redoing my Spring Lake beach house). Liz and Chrissy did a good job righting many of the "wrongs" done by the developer - in terms of helping create more usable space in the kitchen (spice racks, roll out open drawers for pantry items) and closets, desk areas and banquettes. They were really thoughtful in how they approached issues of lighting and functionality. I also like that they are very willing to use a good mix of high and low (from West Elm to Roche Bobois in our apartment) to create an eclectic and not overly styled look. My apartment does not look "decorated" but it looks finished and I think thats tough to achieve. We had a lot of fun working on this project together! 6/14 Liz Tiesi at Threshold Interiors is amazing! I had some very clear ideas of what I was looking for, but no ability to curate/pull it all together. Liz was able to help me edit so that the look was cohesive across the house and helped me incorporate many of the design elements I had "pinned" without it looking like a mess of different people's styles. On several occasions, she was so strong in her conviction that we order a certain piece of furniture that I went ahead with it and always was pleased with the result - she has a good eye. Our project was a cosmetic overhaul of a very dated house. Liz was extremely helpful in sourcing light fixtures, bathroom fixtures and kitchen appliances and making sure everything worked together. For example, we mixed polished nickel and brass together in a way that looked totally natural- not something I would have had the confidence or ability to do on my own. Overall, we were very happy to work with Liz - she is great and I would highly recommend her!

Having worked in collaboration with Liz on several projects, I would highly recommend Liz and her firm threshold interiors! Liz's amazing talent, eye for detail and ability to project manage large scale projects is a unique combination. Liz listens intently to her clients, sources beautiful and unique products and takes creativity to the next level. Her professionalism, client service skills, expertise and collaborative style is second to none. Liz creates an ambiance that leaves you breathless.

liz is incredibly knowledgeable about big construction projects and is very interested in the finer details of design and hardware and their long term impact. i learned a lot from liz and we had fun diving into the details together. most importantly i felt liz taught me to aim for perfection and settle for nothing less. i have used her in building two houses now and will continue to hire her for future projects. she loves every aspect to designing, building and creating the atmosphere you want. i cant recommend her enough!

We loved working with Threshold! Liz transformed our dated, crowded kitchen and family room into one flowing, open space. Her style is innovative and trend setting. She is very decisive and responsive. Would definitely use Threshold for our next project!
