The worst experience with any home company I've ever had. They started in late October and finished in early February on two bathroom remodels. These weren't complete remodels, only retiling and new showers. The cabinets remained in as well as countertops. They estimated 6 weeks at the beginning of the job and almost 4 months later, they finally finished. They punched a hole from the guest bathroom into our living room during demolition. The fix was poorly communicated and a mess that dragged out for two months. The framing inside our wall has PERMANENT DAMAGE!!! They absolutely botched the master bath remodel by unevenly building the pony wall and not discovering it until the contractor that installed the door and glass said that he couldn't install the glass because it wouldn't be straight. This is more time wasted by a poor project manager. These are only the top two of at least five botches by the company. On a positive note, the workers were very nice and the finished product was quality after they turned our life upside down for 4+ months for 6 weeks of work. I would still give zero stars if I could because of the holiday disruption that wasn't supposed to happen and the late January out of town visitors that we had planned that we had to cancel because TWD couldn't manage a moderately complex job.

Eddie, thank you for taking the time to leave us this feedback. We do apologize that you feel this strongly against our company and the beautiful work that we have done for you. Working closely with your wife on the planning, this project was bid for both bathrooms to be done simultaneously and was estimated to be done in that 6 week timeframe, which was outlined on the contract in bold colored text that she signed. This timeline was completely do-able until you refused to let us schedule it that way when it came time to start. At no point did we ever pass along all of the extra fees that TWD incurred for you not allowing us to do this. This forced every crew member, subcontractor and vendor that we utilized for your project to have to make double the trips to your home than what was included in the original contract and in turn doubled the length of the schedule. At no time did we want your project to take months and incur additional costs that we had to cover in order to fulfill your contract to your satisfaction, but we did our best to work within your parameters.

It is a common occurrence to have nail pops and/or minor damage on the backside of a wall that you are doing construction and demo on. Any type of movement like that can cause damage, however it does not indicate anything was done faulty or in a destructive manner. These imperfections were repaired during the normal construction process.

The elaborate illustration that you have shared in your review is definitely something that we take very seriously. Just the same as when you made accusations on-site to our company that we somehow caused a water leak on the exterior of your home to a window that we were not working on. Being blamed, we went over and above performing a free water test service for you even though we knew it had nothing to do with our company. In doing that for you, we provided you proof that you had an exterior stucco and window leak that would have cause you future water damage that would escalate. Please know that this diagnostic service was not part of our contract with you, and again shows the extensive levels that we went to in order to provide you with the level of service that we stand by. If going to all of these lengths for a customer earns us zero stars, then there is nothing that we ever could have done to earn your respect. At the end of the day, your bathrooms were completed on time with the parameters that you allowed us to have and they came out absolutely beautiful.

After fruitlessly searching for weeks for someone who specifically does stucco repair, we learned about TWD and gave them a call. We're extremely glad we did. The receptionist we initially spoke with was extremely friendly and helpful and took our information and said someone would be in contact with us soon, and in fact we received a callback that same afternoon. After explaining what we wished to have done, within a couple of days we received an estimate and timetable for completion of the work. The service people who came on the scheduled work dates were able to patch a damaged spot in the stucco on the side of our unit and fill in a large gap that had been left in a door frame pop out. They were to a person very friendly and professional, and the quality of the finished project was excellent. We wholeheartedly recommend this company and their services.

If only I could post pics on here. Last year we used them for the family room tearing down the gas fireplace and installing an modern electric fireplace. The choices of beautiful tiles and the vendors they use we knew the kitchen would be next in line. So this year we had new quartz’s and marble backsplash along with installing a pot filler above the stove, new sink and garbage installed all within a month!! They were some how able to finish within the time they said it would take. This company is all about customer service. We will be using them for the next couple of years. When we learned that our new dream home needed work to remediate issues from the builder, we were angry and frustrated. When TWD was selected to do the work we were relieved there was a reputable company in charge. But that relief soon blossomed into much more as TWD undertook the significant work with a degree of professionalism and excellence that was beyond our expectations. TWD began by informing and educating us about the issues they’d identified, showing us those issues, and then discussing and detailing how they would fix them. Additionally, every step of the way their crew was focused on minimizing the impact and inconvenience to us as the home owners. The crews kept everything remarkably clean, were polite and professional without exception, and progress was steady and communication was constant. We could not be happier with the work that was done from start to finish and the final clean up. There were so, so many awesome workers that I am sure I will miss a few. If you are looking for someone who can match your stucco, look no further! After 3 different individuals/companies attempted to repair the stucco on my backyard walls, I was left unsatisfied and looking for a professional who specializes in stucco. I personally think it is an eye sore when stucco does not match on any wall, whether it’s mine or someone else’s. I cannot tell where Antonio with TWD repaired the walls because it blends in so well. Thus, I highly recommend him if you are truly interested in quality and to be able to not tell where the repairs were made and to have it blend in as if it were a part of the original.

We hired TWD to fully remodel our kitchen, replace our floors from carpet to porcelain tile and do some minor guest bath remodeling and baseboard replacement. From the initial design that let us get an idea of what our kitchen would look like right through to the end our designer and project manager were knowledgable and very professional. For the most part, our remodel went smoothly with only some minor issues with the flooring subcontractor. In the end, we are extremely happy with our modern kitchen including new Timberlake cabinetry, quartz countertops and "wood-look" porcelain tile throughout the entire house. It has completely transformed the look of interior! I would definitely recommend TWD and plan to use them again for future projects.

TWD was contracted to do the window reseals for Pulte. I had an issue with moisture getting behind my stucco and coming away from the wall do to poor workmanship. I contacted Pulte they told me to contact TWD that they did the work. When I contacted TWD about the issue they told me I was out of my one year warranty. TWD claimed some other company did the stucco work and they are out of business. TWD quoted me $1500 to fix the issue. I remember specifically when the the original work was being done that the trucks all said TWD on them. I had to hire another company because TWD refuse to fix the poor workmanship unless I paid $1500 and claims they only did the paint work. Well the paint was an inexpensive paint and has faded compleatly around the house. Would not recommend this company.

Good afternoon Mr. McDonald. Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on us. As mentioned when our Vice President met with you, Todd Whittaker Drywall Inc. (TWD) did NOT perform any stucco work on your home. We do in fact keep all records from every job that we perform on. Pulte Homes instructed TWD via work order to paint your home which happened on the week of April 4, 2011 and to wash the windows only, which happened on May 6, 2011. As we have explained, the contractor that Pulte Homes was using in 2011 for stucco services, named D.I. Specialty, was the company that had done work on your home and has since gone out of business over the last 5+ years since your house has been worked on. TWD stands behind our quality and our workmanship by all means, but we simply cannot warranty another contractors work. It goes without saying that this should not reflect badly upon TWD or our level of customer service that we provide.

The Arizona Registrar of Contractors mandates a 2 year workmanship warranty, which we do provide on any work that TWD performs. Should there have been any question in regards to the workmanship that TWD did perform on your home, it has been over 5 years as it stands now and is well past any applicable warranty period under state regulation. Acting as a subcontractor per contract with Pulte Homes, TWD did not dictate the product that was to be used. Those details are instructed to us on the work order provided to us by the home builder.

I recently had my home painted by another company and they did a terrible job. They didn't tape off windows and cabinets and got paint everywhere.Their color tie ins were a mess and the overall job just looked horrible. TWD came in and spent two full days detailing the entire house and did a fantastic job. I will be using TWD for everything from this point forward. We had our master bath remodeled this past October. Our experience overall was great. Ron had great ideas in the materials to use to keep us within budget, less than $15,000. Eric, our project manager, was on sight everyday that workmen were scheduled to ensure things were going as planned. He became our new best friend and always answered our calls. Any glitches or concerns we encountered were immediately taken care of by him. The completion was a week late due to miscalculations with the shower glass. However, the end result was worth it. We would recommend TWD and will most likely use them when we redo our smaller bath later this year.

TWD performed a major remodel of our thirty year old home - they completely gutted the master bathroom, guest bath and kitchen. All new appliances were installed along with new cabinets and granite countertops. They also built a custom entertainment center and bar unit in our family room, painted most of the house and repaired drywall throughout. TWD is a first class operation and it flows from the top, from its owners Todd and Jamie Whittaker. The project manager Eric was at the helm and he was the glue that kept the project moving forward. TWD's employees were punctual and Eric was on the job almost daily during the early phases of the project and sometimes twice if needed. When he wasn't on the job he was very accessible by phone, email and text. All of the TWD employees took tremendous pride in the quality of the work they performed and were always respectful of us, and our home and the fact that we continued to live in the house throughout the project. TWD's subcontractors were excellent as well. The tile subcontractor was meticulous and a true artist. Our new master shower is spectacular. A major portion of the project involved cabinetry and TWD's cabinetry subcontractor Morgan Nielsen and his assistant Joe were amazing. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding. The project was completed on a timely basis. Throughout the project TWD's employees said that their main goal was to make us happy and they accomplished that in a big way. We highly recommend TWD.

We cannot say enough good things about TWD and how they professionally and competently transformed our kitched from a dark, dreary cave into a bright, vibrant and modern center of cooking and entertaining. Ron was instrumental in walking us through multiple design scenarios with a balanced eye for design and function. We just finished a custom bathroom remodel with TWD. They are FANTASTIC!!!!!! Ron gave us a beautiful design and Eric managed the project wonderfully. They finished all the demo, build, tile work, and plumbing very quickly and then installed a huge piece of etched glass. All the workers were professional and highly skilled. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

TWD did an excellent job on our kitchen remodel and was great to work with from beginning to end. I am new to the area and have never had any major work done on any house I have owned. Ron LaBrie was so easy to work and did a beautiful yet simple redesign of our kitchen. Everyone that came in to work on the house was respectful and professional. Every day the place was left clean and tidy. Drywall, painting, floor tiles, wall tiles, countertops, cabinets, new kitchen sink and plumbing all were put in with little disruption to the rest of the household. The project was completed as scheduled and our new kitchen is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Todd Whittaker Drywall and will use them for any projects that come up in the future.

TWD remodeled a forty year old bathroom, removing all old floor tile, countertops and plumbing. Installing new tile tub inclosure, flooring, paint, countertops and furnitures. Great advice and awesome for done.

TWD did a complete kitchen/dining room remodel for us. They diid a beautiful job! Very pleasant to deal with, comunications were clear. They finished the project in on time and under budget! Eric and Ron are super to deal with, along with the rest of the team. TWD uses the Builders Trend project management software, which gives the homeowner the time lne, photo's etc. I recommend TWD to my friends and neighbors, and will use them again!

I have used TWD for several Projects at my home - Kitchen and bath remodel including cabinets with electrical and plumbing, interior and exterior painting, interior wall/ceiling removal and remodel, exterior stucco/block work, window installations, and window screens. Their staff is friendly and helpful and work closely with you throughout the process. Pricing is competitive and the work is professionally done. I would use them again and have recommended them to others several times with good reviews back to me.
