LEEZA Surfaces

Last December, we moved into a home built in 1865. Beautiful bones but the whole house needed redone. The kitchen was probably last redecorated in the '60s. I very much wanted quartz like we had put in our last home but it was cost prohibitive given the size of the kitchen so we went with the Staron product. We chose a medium gray. First of all, the island countertop was done twice because the company that installed it could do no more than three feet wide so the additional five inches had to be 'seamed" to the larger part. Both times the seam showed so we ended up choosing an off-white peppled color. The problem we have with this product, particularly in the gray, is that it scratches easily. Then there's the spotting. Water spots it. The only way to clean it is with window cleaner. Particularly around the sink area, I clean four to five times a day. If we had known all of this, we would have picked a different product. Live and learn.

Their professional assistance and personable dealings during the process of obtaining our new Hanstone Canada countertop (tranquility) has been a pleasure. Comparing quartz manufacturers was easy once a company comparison was done with processes and quality of product. We are excited to see the countertop in place in our newly renovated kitchen.
