We had a high degree of trust in the team, which was critical as they would be in our home while we were away at work. Their crew was considerate, professional and provided great communication throughout the process. It is never easy to be without your kitchen for weeks on end. The team took the time to help us with contingency planning prior to tear out and minimized the impact and disruption to the rest of the house. Over the years AK has performed a number of remodeling projects at my home. We have gutted and remodeled the kitchen, master bath, powder room, and the guest bath. We also built a sauna, a gym, a deck with a hot tub and sunroom. With each project all of AK's employees and subs were very easy to work with and very respectful of our space. We had one bathroom completely gutted and redone, 2 bathrooms updated, and the outside of our house repainted. Ed Cholfin was terrific from the listening phase of what we wanted, to the quoting phase, and then to overseeing the work. His exact professionalism and standards are beyond compare. Ed was at our house everyday to check on the progress of the job and would have things redone if need be. His working team were thorough, polite, detailed, and always maintained a neat work environment. Ed was able to help me with some decorating decisions such as pulls and knobs for the cabinets, tile selection according to my budget, and paint choices. We collaborated very well. My husband and I could not have been happier with this overall experience. First rate all around...and we still love our new bathrooms every single day!!
