Smith and Steele Designs and Renovations did an exemplary job with the recent renovation of our condo on Island Way in Clearwater, Florida! Prior to any demolition, Amy and Troy obtained the required permits from the State of Florida and confirmed with structural engineers what could and could not be done. The project was extensive, as a kitchen wall was removed to open up the main area, another wall was moved three feet to enlarge the master bathroom, old flooring and carpet were removed and new tile was installed through the entire unit, both baths were totally redone, the electrical and plumbing were upgraded to meet city codes, and new kitchen cabinets and appliances were installed. The whole group from the top down were very professional, knowledgeable, and respectful to us and our neighbors as this project was ongoing. David Conover, who might be considered one of the overseers, was there the majority of the time, completed much of the remodeling, and was available to answer many of our questions. Amy Smith did an awesome job drawing up the designs for the renovations, picking out paint colors, accessories for bathrooms and kitchen, and setting up appointments with other qualified business owners in other areas, such as for window treatments. We absolutely loved working with Troy, Amy and the whole team at Smith and Steele. Covid created some obstacles, but they were always responsive, and we felt our satisfaction was always a top priority. If we were not happy with something they would work to make it right! They are honest and trustworthy, and we had no issue allowing them to come and go out of our house as needed. I have used Amy on and off over the years for decorating, so I knew I wanted her to help design and remodel our kitchen. We love our new space and could not be happier. Worth every dollar!

The Smith and Steele team exceeded our expectations. We needed to update our main living spaces and to do it alone seemed like a daunting task. Her design ideas provided us with consistent color flow, excellent quality furniture selections including fabulous rugs and wall art. The Smith and Steele team did a wonderful job on the installation of the large mirrors, wall art, window treatments, etc. Our home looks amazing! Amy has been working with me to update and decorate my fixer-upper for the last several years. She does a great job with whatever decorating style you have and is very easy to work with.
