I loved working with Alex at Earthscape. I wanted to turn my boring yard into an oasis. Alex is amazing! He came up with a design that blew my mind. He is very talented and easy to work with. The crew that did the work were all very conpatent. They were kind enough to keep me up to date on the progress of my project. I am so happy with my yard, that now is my oasis! I would highly recommend Earthscapes! They are amazing!

Once we finalized our plans with Alex, his team jumped on our project. They finished the job on time and on budget. The concrete and railing subcontractors Alex brought on were excellent. Any revisions and refinements that we made were handled without complaint or extra charges. Our new yard is gorgeous!

We hired Earthscapes to design and build a modern mountain retreat front and backyard. Alex was excellent to work with, he came up with a great design that had everything we were looking for. Alex and the team achieved a huge amount in a very short period of time tearing out the old and installing the new landscaping. Alex was very communicative, the project was completed in the expected timeframe and on budget and has totally transformed our property.

My experience working with Earthscapes has been incredible. We started a large project which involved building a guest house & garage out front. We hired Earthscapes to re-landscape our front yard at the same time. Alex and his team were very accommodating of the guest house construction timeline and adjusted their schedules to work around it several times. I don’t think many contractors would have been that patient! Earthscapes has gone above and beyond to make our front yard look amazing. We had a few ideas in mind for what we wanted. Alex listened to our ideas, added his own creative feedback and worked hard and efficiently to make it happen. I’m very impressed with Alex’s knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail. We had such a good experience working with Earthscapes that we hired them to landscape 2 additional commercial properties that we own. I highly recommend them!

I didn't think reliable contractors existed. I worked with Alex because his crew was working next door and I needed some quick work done in my yard. We ended up planting trees and shrubs, cleaning up multiple flower beds, and laying down a fair amount of sod. What impressed my most was that I felt like I could tell him what I needed and he just took care of it. I didn't have to make endless decisions, Alex gave us the vision and made it happen. And not only did he make it happen, it was done quickly and WHEN he told me it would be done. I don't write a lot of reviews, but I'm happy to recommend these guys to anyone!

Alex completed a good sized project at my house last year - tear out, hardscape, planting, sprinklers, and fencing. He and his team were fast, professional, and we communicated all the way through the project. They've also been great with some follow up items and questions. I'll work with Alex and his team again on our next project!

Do yourself a big favor and don’t hire this company. Alex (the owner) comes across as experienced and trustworthy, two reason why I hired him, but once he started on my project that all changed. He’s unprofessional, inexperienced, unorganized, lacks communication and he charges extremely premium prices for low quality work. He also likes to charge you for work you never approved. If you need a great landscaper that’s fair and honest check out GreenSide -they’re well worth the wait. **update** Since my last review Alex filed a wrongful lien on our property while we were still going back and forth with him and waiting on a corrected invoice (he was charging us for work he never did) and after we paid him MORE than what was a fair amount. We have thousands of dollars (Alex likes to up charge 2-4 times the amount of the cost) in dead plants/trees and have spent a good month total fixing our sprinklers that he messed up and charged us $2,960 for, which was never discussed or approved, but yet we still paid him. He has asked a few times that I take my review down… and he won’t be removing the lien until I do. I wonder how many other people have removed their review because of his “bullying” tactics. I have had a few people reach out to me since posting my review claiming that he’s doing the same thing to them. Don’t let the “good” reviews fool you.

The Review here we have tried to make whole in any dissatisfaction from the beginning, our goal will and always is trying to please our customers and try to create unique spaces for our customers to enjoy for a many many years, We have worked with this client through the whole project with all her design and requests shaping her yard as she wanted and us to and hearing all her previous complaints of the previous contractors she had hired (red Flag) so we just tried to do what she wanted us to do and charge her for only what we did for her and we even offered a discount to her after she fought so hard to pay her bill which she only wanted to pay half of the original scope of work. The changes made to her yard were a great improvement and we felt like we treated her fairly, and after going back and forth for 4 months and not getting anywhere with fair compensation we were force to enforce our rights for lack to pay their bill with discount included. The Review we felt was incorrect in our character and as we can appreciate criticism to try to improve our services we felt it was deformation of our character. The pictures here show lack of water, everything we installed was in good health and we installed additional sprinklers to get proper coverage to these areas, Sandy didn't like one type of plant so we went back and swapped it out for free to another type she wanted.

Earthscapes was recommended to me by a trusted realtor. I was happy to find that Alex is very friendly and talented. He and his assistant were prompt in getting our project started after I contacted them. The work done was fantastic and I was pleased with the professionalism of the crew. They have followed up since completion to answer my questions and review the project for any issues. While I appreciated how quickly the project was completed, I would have liked to meet and discuss the summary/schedule of the work done prior to commencement. I didn’t know if/when/what work was being done each day and to assure that it was what I wanted, I felt like I had to be home. Overall, a fantastic company and personally approved for landscape work!

Last summer I moved into a home that needed a small backyard put in so my dog could play. The previous owner only had concrete laid for rec vehicle storage. I have zilch green thumb experience. I asked earthscapes to plan and deliver everything. The only parameters were lawn, sprinklers to water my lawn, and a small budget. They knocked out my backyard in a few days, doing it while I was out of town on business, completing it under budget, and when I came home besides lawn, and sprinklers, I had a tree, and a bunch of plants. My dog loves it, it’s easy to upkeep, and looks far better than all that concrete I had. Down the road I’ll have earthscapes come back and make my front yard as sharp as my backyard.
