“My kitchen is stunning! The designers helped me with every step and gave me the benefit of their years of experience. The layout I imagined was changed into a working design, and they even came to my house first to see what kinds of things I would be storing, and then customized my design to my specifics. The designer came many times during the process and worked closely with my contractor to make sure everything was perfect. Their advice meant the difference between an ordinary kitchen and my own personalized space, right down to my custom stained glass cabinet doors - designed by me, and custom made at no additional cost. I couldn't be happier! I would recommend Rockland Interiors to anyone.”

“I used Modern Tradition Kitchen & Bath and could not have been more pleased with the results. I moved into an apartment that was a complete gut job both kitchen and bath. Felipe and his expertise turned both rooms into what I had envisioned. From cabinets, to flooring and countertops everything was truly amazing. Felipe not only got me both kitchen and bathroom I asked for but was also on budget. I would highly recommend his first class service.”

“I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Jessica - she's collaborative, responsive and has a true gift for helping her clients hone their style and make their home a unique and beautiful place to live. We worked remotely to redesign three rooms in my house and it was instantly like I had known her forever. As a working mom with three young children, finding the time to meet with a designer can prove challenging, but with Jessica's flexibility and modern technology (i.e. Face Time, text & email), we quickly tackled the project. She truly understood my vision and came to the table with a fresh and exciting perspective. I had never worked with a designer or really spent time planning the ascetic of my home, and I've been thoroughly impressed with what she accomplished. She executed my vision and then some. We couldn't be happier with the result and are preparing to work with Jessica again on a kitchen redesign.”

“I wish I could invite you all in to see my spectacular brownstone in Brooklyn. I had owned it for 20 years when I hired Deborah Gans to save it (it was collapsing) and reinvent it (it was a warren of awkward rooms). She turned into an airy, light-filled, elegant but modern, completely comfortable but also gorgeous home. She knew when to spend money, and when to hold back. She was inventive without being scarily inventive. When there were problems, as there always are, she figured out how to solve them, and held my hand at the same time. There is not one thing I would change. I feel like the luckiest homeowner ever.”

He was thoughtful and took so much time to be sure every detail was just perfect. He really cared about the project from the time we first met and all the way through installation. He even came to my home when I started to second guess some of my ideas. He provided resolutions right on the spot. “I thought that finding an honest contractor who follows through with what they promise would be impossible but decided to take the chance with Essential and finally do my first renovation. I was very nervous at first but the contractor Peter was extremely patient and was with me every step of the way. His team which included a talented designer put together a picture perfect kitchen, powder bathroom and master bedroom bathroom. I was blown away by the attention to detail and if you’re looking for a wonderful experience limiting your stress level for such a major project then Peter and his team are a great fit.”

“We had a complete renovation done of our bedroom wing with 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and a hallway under Heike's guidance. This was the 2nd project we have done with her, and we are once more thrilled with the result! What we like about Heike is that, she is a nice person to work with, she listens well, does extra research, has a lot of knowledge of materials and where to get them, and last but not least the fact that she comes from Europe and understands our modern European taste well. She introduced a number of nice touches in the overall design and paid attention to the overall energy efficiency of the renovation. She also worked with our contractor and the building department of our town. We can full-heartedly recommend her.”
