We are planning to create a built in closet in the notched area in the corner of this room. The room used to be an office and we're making it a bedroom. So my issue is that the trim is dark brown, but I would like white or off-white built ins. Will that look too funky? Our painter told us that painting trim can be a long involved process, so we thought we'd just keep the trim brown. P.S. The walls will be painted possibly light grey and the carpet is being replaced (grey). Thoughts?
