HAVE YOU USED BM AURA PAINT!!?? ALSO NEED HELP ON CHOOSING GREY PAINT!!
Comments (6)I think it was AURA and so far we've been really happy. Here are two pictures of the bedroom in Coastal Fog and one of the bathroom in River Rock Gray. They are phone pics so not the greatest and the lighting definitely doesn't help much, but maybe it will give you an idea. I took these before we had really moved in to the space - no books on the shelves or mirror in the bathroom yet, etc... Whatever you decide, I would spend the few dollars and get some samples to put up - it really helped me. I chose the RRG after the first color I tried in the bathroom seemed too green - I was glad to have decided that with a 2 x 2 foot sample and not after having had the whole bathroom painted......See MoreNeed help choosing exterior paint now that I have a new BLACK door
Comments (6)It's hard to get a true vision of the color differences on a computer monitor, but did a little Google Search on what others paired with the two colors. With the Charcoal, they used BM Sea Haze for a contrasting lighter gray. With the Sandy Hook, they used Chelsea Gray for the dark. Grays can have a slight undertone of browns or blues. I think a dark gray for the door and window trims with the lighter gray on the siding. Railing in the lighter gray with the spindles darker so they disappear. Take a look at this web blog of someone that remodeled their exterior using the Charcoal and some of your same colors: http://underthisdanforthroof.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html...See MoreNeed help picking couch fabric for living room painted in BM OC-28!

Comments (25)@Kristine, the paint store is going to give us all new paint in a new color but we did not ask them to pay for the labor. In the end, some of the responsibility is on us for not having a sample door painted with the new paint. We only went off our own sample pint, which apparently was made using the proper formula / base. Live and learn - I'm just glad its not my kitchen cabinets!...See Morenjmomma
