If this is their second year, they should form flowers and yield seed heads. They will start to pop up in the spring like a first year leek, but later form the flower scape. They form stiff stems, but can get rather tall. If you want to keep them to grow out for a seed harvest in the fall, be sure to tie or stake them up as they get taller and before they start falling over.

If they're not mushy, harvest and enjoy them.

They are still to small so I need to decide what to do.
