Paint/decor suggestions

I need help with paint colors. I want a neutral theme with no grays or white. I'm painting living room with large window with north light. My sofa & chair is a coppery brown. I love assessories in earthy tones.....rust, sage or olive greens, creams, tans. LR is open to dining room and kitchen.. if I use greens on walls, then I am doing creamy color for cabinets. If I do all the walls cream, off whites or tans, I am doing cabinets in a sage or olive cabinets. I have color strips from Behr, and Sherwin Williams and the more I look the more confused I become. Any suggestions on tried and true colors or ideas. I have 2 4' or 5' long walls on both sides of red brick fireplace. I was thinking of painting those two walls Iron Ore and doing 4 shelves each side. Thanks everyone!

    Just use flat or matte paint on walls with North light.
