Is it growing surrounded by grass? How did you prepare the soil?

It is in the pot and it has been indoor during winter and just few weeks ago I moved it outside so that it can get more sunlight. Grass is not obstructing it's exposure to sun.

Did you introduce it to the sun gradually?

Depending on where you are, they may do better in part shade. I am in texas and they dont do well in full sun here. I moved them to where they get dappled shade at the most and mine are blooming well.
