Since you’ve already painted the furniture a dull color and chosen a dull color rug, how about adding marigold yellow or cherry red? Pillows, flower pots, a warm throw over the back of the sofa, table centerpiece, etc

No black accents. It’s very pretty and serene. The greenery outside functions as art. The only thing I would change is the fan - it should be the same color as the ceiling and not a contrasting focal point. Lovely!!

It looks like you might want to add some accent colors. Maybe look at adding some blue or green with pillows and add some more plants to give the space some more texture. Here is a small patio design we did for a client which might also help some.
