Looks lovely @eileen !! You are tipping the balance toward aureola

I'd go with Aureola as well. All Gold is too much of a solid color and lacks the detail and delicacy of Aureola. I have a pot of Aureola with my potted hostas as well.

I love it. I have three big clumps of it in my garden and some in a planter box, all from the original plant.

I love Aureola for the way the striping makes it look so fresh, and the bit of green ties in with whatever green plant it is next to, but glowingly due to the creamy gold.

If I want more solid gold / chartreuse ( would like to do more “ painting with hostas”, but, deer, so I grow only a few) , I am turning more to something like Everillo sedge , because I have found it more drought- resistant than I thought, and it’s more available, all different sizes. I have to order the Japanese forest grass online and grow up the very small potted babies.
