This is a discontinued Stark wallpaper, but Paul Montgomery wallpaper can make the exact one. Good luck!

I grew up with wallpaper in the kitchen. My Mom would redo it every so often. She would use a vinyl wallpaper so that it was washable, and if an edge started peeling a little elmers glue would stick it back down, but wash off with water when she wanted something different.

I know the wallpaper is hand-painted but do you know what color blue paint was used or a blue paint color that would be very similar to the blue shown here?

Liesel Lighting carried many lines, but you can search for Murano Glass Chandelier and find something similar.

This kitchen is inspired. Even though you know it was created by a professional designer, it has the look and feel of a real lived-in home. And I think that's what we amateurs strive for in our own way. But it's hard!

Stain repellant sealed, but I would send in a few samples and have them send back to you before you pull the trigger.
  • bondimodern
Thank you! We're in Australia so we ended up using a Porter's Clearcote over a digital print wallpaper we have in the kitchen. The sealant is used on floors too, so it's pretty durable. Love the result. Am sure glazing would be excellent too.

Without seeing the room, try backing 2 sofas to eachother with a table between them and 2 lamps and then chairs facing both sofas, to create sitting areas.
  • joyannello
When dealing with a great room you need to basically divide it twice or in some cases into three separate conversation areas. Usually this involves a seating area for TV viewing, seating area around fireplace and/or large coffee table and finally perhaps a quieter area with seating for two for a cozy reading area. It really depends on the vision and actual function you wish to achieve.

Yes, you send the paper in, they seal it and send it back to you, and then you hang it. Hope this helps!

Toronto Interior Design Group | Yanic Simard added this to 7 Design Rules and Why You Should Break ThemOct 30, 2015

3. Rule: Kitchens demand tile walls. Why you should break it: While we’re adding tile to bedroom walls, why not consider other materials in the kitchen? With a low backsplash in place to stop the typical food splatters, the remaining walls of this kitchen are free to take on charming wallpaper. This helps keep the kitchen feeling like a true part of the home rather than a strictly functional space.Tip: Use a sheet of glass to cover wallpaper and you won’t need the addition of another material at all.
