What colour and manufacturer are the steel roof, soffit and fascia? Hard to tell if I see dark brown and white or a black and cream colour.

The metal roof of that house looks amazing, especially the design of it. How would you install that, is it just nailing it on with a hammer or what? I ask this because of a thought that came to my about changing out the roof of my house.

Those little knobs look like snowguards - added to metal roofs to keep snow from sheeting and sliding off onto folks below.

Unfortunately I don't have a record of the exterior color. We most commonly use Benjamin Moore White Dove for white woodwork and exteriors, so that is my best guess.

It is a steel roof. In the specs, it says: Unclad, 24 gauge, 12"O.C., UC-4 steel standing seam system, Color : "Dark Bronze". There are good things and bad things about metal roofs - the good things are that they look great and can last 50 years or more. The bad thing is that they are very expensive - expect to pay $20K-30K more for a metal roof than for an asphalt shingle roof.

A one-and-a-half-story cottage-style board and batten addition highlights this traditional 1902 foursquare. Notice how the design team played with proportion while installing the board and batten on each story.
