5. Crisscrossed. These aren’t conventional bunks, but the end result is still two beds, one above the other. One benefit of this setup is that both bunks have more privacy, especially from someone working at the built-in desk. The storage is impressive as well, with niches on both levels, a nightstand, closed cabinets and open shelves. These would be a real boon in a room with lots of clutter to stash. All in all, it’s a serious piece of custom cabinetry, but it may be the key to making your bedroom work.
