Inspiration for a mid-sized contemporary wooden l-shaped metal railing staircase remodel in Calgary with wooden risers

Contemporary Staircase, Calgary

due to lot orientation and proportion, we needed to find a way to get more light into the house, specifically during the middle of the day. the solution that we came up with was the location of the stairs along the long south property line, combined with the glass railing, skylights, and some windows into the stair well. we allowed the stairs to project through the glass as thought the glass had sliced through the steps.

Like the simple handrail. Can you give me any info about it?
    Thanks.

Emily, we just used a pretty standard LED strip light again one that looks more like a tape actually, relatively thin. It wasn't terribly costly. There is a little bit of thinking required to ensure that the rough stair was prepped properly but after that, the install was relatively easy. I don't remember the specification exactly but LED strip lights and tape have become pretty commonplace nowadays. I hope this helps.
