We had exposed pipes and duct work to conceal, but wanted to leave access. So we build a partial wall of pegboard, which can be removed where needed if moving the appliances isn't enough. I made the chalkboard from scrap and adding charcoal grout to black paint. It's organized and fun, making a welcoming entry from the garage.
