The plate mirror was adhered on the wall. 2 separate mirrors with Capiz shell frames, were then anchored to the wall through holes in the plate mirror.

Actually, the company that provides mirrors do the hole cutting. They have all the proper tools. Provided with the precicise measurement and placement of lights, faucets and electrical outlets and they are experienced at what they do, they shouldn't be nervous about the process at all.

Builders Glass of Bonita and The Glass Shoppe
I stumbled on this beautiful idea for bathroom vanity mirrors. As the owner of a glass company in Florida, I wanted to confirm your advice Lorraine. It's true that we can drill into the mirror when it's already on a wall in order to hang a piece of artwork or another mirror. WE have done it a few times without a problem. I will say the first time I was hesitant and so were my experienced installers. Drilling mirrors, as you can imagine, has to be done under the right conditions and with the right equipment, preferable laid out on a glass cutting table. I continue to do applications like this, but I do put a disclaimer that the mirror could break. The most ideal situation for drilling a mirror when its on the wall, is when the mirror is very tight against the wall and they haven't used large globs of mastic which can leave a 1/2" gap or more. If the mirror isn't snug to the wall and we try to drill into it, the pressure can snap the mirror. The small risk is worth it in my opinion, what a great return!
If a client is getting new mirrors and plans to add a framed mirror on top, that is a piece of cake and would all be predrilled in the shop.

The sinks are hammered polished nickel. I need to look back in the project files for the manufacturer.

Thank you. How does the hammered nickel finish hold up to daily use? Does it acquire a patina (like copper) or remain looking looking like new?

Hello-these mirrors were purchased from an importer who has since retired. I’m thinking a company like Made Goods would have something similar.

    Hi Angie-

The countertop is not granite at all-it's Honey Onyx.

Thank you for your interest in my work~

Hello-I can only assume that with the 3 sides and the cabinet underneath, this is all that is needed for support. But, a contractor would know best.
    Thank you for your question,

Thank you so much for loving this~I do too! These particular mirrors have been discontinued. But there are endless possibilities to achieving this same look. You could try googling capiz framed mirrors. This look can also be achieved simply by mounting (empty) frames on the mirror. You will need a professional that has the correct tools to drill the builders mirror for proper and safe mounting. This would be your local glass supplier.
    Good luck with your project!

Have an oversized bathroom mirror that extends wall to wall? Give it some visual interest by framing sections. This will also create separate areas for the sink and vanity.

Capiz shells, nature's gift from the sea, add a third dimension to a typical vanity mirror. Coordinating honey-onyx counters take on the appearance of shell and are as durable as they are dazzling.

Sometimes the best things come in threes. In this bathroom, a trio of wall sconces is spaced evenly between the vanity mirrors, creating task lighting that is perfectly balanced and adequate for grooming and getting glam.
