One idea to keep concealed appls behind doors safely (mainly fire if an appl is left on) is to add a switch that would disable the outlet much like the GFCI (which opens the circuit) while the door or tambour is closed, possibly a switch attached to the door hinge or one that is light activated. The only drawback may be losing the ability to program the appliance, like a coffee maker.

Disabling the outlet is smarter to reduce power drain, as well as safety concern, powersurge killing appliances as well.

I would say it is 240 cm wide. Lower cabinets look like three times 80 cm and upper 4 times 60 cm. standard European measurements...

        2. Winnow Down Your Kitchen Gear During a remodel, your cooking and eating routine will be disrupted, and no matter how much you love to cook, ambitious meals will be a challenge. Keep things simple and pare down to the kitchen tools you really, truly can’t live without. Be merciless — how often are you going to use your food processor or waffle iron? Stash the essentials close at hand and store the rest.

Scale up. A pantry that’s also a breakfast station is sure to set any storage fanatic’s pulse racing. This is perhaps the ultimate piece of kitchen furniture, one most of us can only dream about. It combines oodles of storage with a dedicated space where you can prepare your coffee and toast. You can then stand and gaze at your neatly arranged shelves while you eat. Life doesn’t get much better than that, does it? Find a professional organizer near you
