Those are called 3 rod hairpin legs, you can get them at sites like www.modernlegs.com . You can paint them any color or highlight them with Plasti-Dip

TVCoverUps
Another option is TVCoverUps. Framed Art(including your own) or Mirror adds to the room's decor, with the hidden TV and Entertainment Consoles beneath. See how EASY it really is :

I just bought a new rug for my living space - When I saw this photo I felt better about putting a smaller rug in a larger space with none of the furniture on it. Looks great! Is there a "rule of thumb" on size of rug vs. room?

Thanks! I tend to think there are no "rules" and just go with my gut. (Professionals might say otherwise, ha ha) For this room, I have so much going on already, I thought that a larger rug might be overwhelming, plus this one was cheaper since I could buy fewer Flor tiles.

After discovering FLOR tiles a number of years ago, Amanda found that she was drawn to their versatility but interested in more patterns. With the help of a utility knife and a few colored tiles, she came up with her own clever geometric pattern and assembled the rug in her living room. See the before and after on Amanda's blog, Red Jet Whistle.

2. Weigh the risks. Even if you own your home or have permission from your landlord, that does not mean you are in the clear. Subletting your home opens you up to potential theft and serious damage that you ultimately will be responsible for. There are certainly horror stories out there about sublets gone wrong, so you should not take the decision to rent out your home lightly. There are ways to minimize these risks but not to eliminate them.
