What Houzz contributors are saying:
16. Bengale by Manuel CanovasThe wallpapered dormer in this shared Mill Valley, California, bedroom frames a cozy sleeping nook. Close to the beds, the colorful and detailed pattern invites you in for a closer look. Duvet cover: Classic, Pottery Barn Kids; pendant light: Leran, Ikea
I can’t decide if the single thing in this room is those to-die-for vintage beds or the wallpaper. Both are great. But on final consideration, I’d have to pick the charming dog rocker.
5. Add holiday magic to kids' rooms. If you have little ones in the house, there is no one who will appreciate a bit of holiday cheer more. Put a few mini wreaths on the wall, hang an extra stocking or mitten filled with stuffed animals on the bedpost or even bring in a miniature Christmas tree.
Another dynamic wallpaper accent adds a jolt of bright color without overwhelming the girls' bedroom. The room is a fresh mix of contemporary and Victorian pieces, including painted Victorian twin beds and a Swedish modern wicker pendant.
