What Houzz contributors are saying:
Pack in the storage. One of the easiest ways to make a home feel larger is simply to reduce clutter. An abundance of physical items, such as too much furniture and too many ornaments, books and accessories, can make a space feel small. So how do we solve this? The simple answer is storage, lots and lots of good, discreet storage. Most houses don’t have enough. It doesn’t have to be expensive, but if you can, go for built-in storage solutions to make the most of all those nooks and crannies (think about the space around the chimney and under the stairs).
