Hi This is a grey paving stone - not a tile. The evening lighting makes it look slightly purplish, but your computer monitor setting may be adding to that.

You can put glass in between the wood. Or you could build a similar looking structure with a full roof.

What about a colorful canvas drap you could pull up to cover in cases of rain, kind of like a retractable awning but a drape would be more casual and appropriate, different.

You could put glass between the wood for more protection from the weather

You could also have an awning type fabric that is put on a system that can be pulled back. I know there are companies that do this.

what is the fire pit constructed of? Is there a threat that the heat could damage the wood beams overhead?

Hard to say, we are not contractors. Wouldn't shock me in in Today's crazy expensive Vancouver Canada market something like this as $30,000 + A lot of prep work here was needed for this.

Not our department, we designed it, but not sure best way to maintain it. Contractors would know better.

We do not build these, we just design them. Ask a trusted local contractor and I am sure you can get estimates.

Cannot recall. The homeowner adjusted them on site with the contractor, so not sure what the exact final dims are.

Hi, we don't have that information as we did not construct the project. It was also part of a whole home renovation, and not just the outdoor space so the builder may also have a difficult time breaking apart the cost. If you are interested in an estimate you should speak to a builder in your area and have them estimate based on the site conditions of your property and size of deck/structure you are considering.
