I am not sure if it satisfies any residential codes. I think it is only for sound and for the look. Thanks for looking!

Salt Lake City, Utah. This former auto garage was an ideal first home for motorcycle enthusiast Spencer Steed and his wife, Alex Tovey. In keeping with the existing raw style of the space, the couple added mechanic-shop-inspired decor and rustic salvaged pieces. Here in their bedroom, corrugated fiberglass panels attached to plywood on steel framing and sliding weathered steel closet doors have gritty appeal.See more of this home

      1. Sawhorse as clothing rack. The industrial look is all about utility — and what could be more utilitarian than a sawhorse? Pick up one of these at the hardware store, plunk it down in your bedroom and toss that pair of Levi's over it instead of in a heap on the floor.

This converted garage was formerly a wide open industrial space. Steel studs were used to frame out rooms, and polycarbonate glazing and plywood sheath the walls.

The couple sanded old military boxes found at Smith and Edwards, coated them with polyurethane, stacked them up and added simple baskets to create a dresser.

The corrugated walls, the sliding door, the sawhorse as clothing rack....

I like that the walls are really just one sided on a frame. Easier to do and leave access for electrical and such.

Luis - a saw horse to hold your once-worn clothes??? I kind of love this.
