They are very responsive and really helped us through the entire process. We did a complete kitchen and bathroom remodel and Blackdog kept to the budget and timeframe for completion. Last year at this time I chose Blackdog to re-do my deteriorating wooden deck. The designer helped me select materials; the work was done during the coldest part of last winter, and the job is beautiful. I am very happy with the result. A truly professional job done by a professional team.

I could not have been more impressed with the knowledge, attention to detail, and overall superior level of service that BD imparted throughout the entire process. We hired them to renovate two bathrooms and mudroom and are extremely pleased with it all; we are so pleased we intend to hire them again for a future renovation. We hired Blackdog to do a full remodel of our Master Suite. This included some exterior work as well as all of the interior for the bedroom and bathroom. The Blackdog team is very professional and they are truly customer oriented. The quality of the work from the lead carpenter on my project through each of the subs matched that professional level. There were a couple of glitches along the way, but they were always handled promptly and to my complete satisfaction. They did stay on time and within budget, no surprises! They were a bit more expensive than some of the other contractors I met with during the exploration phase of my project, but in the end I felt most comfortable with them and I knew I would have my expectations met. I definitely recommend them!

I employed Black Dog Builders to remodel my bathroom in 2014. An issue arose two years later (a leak around the base of the shower stall), and it was difficult to locate. But they persisted until they found it, and I am confident it is fixed for good. I was very happy with the work done by Joseph B., the professional who attended to it. He was extremely polite, thorough and determined to make it right. Because of the three year warantee, it cost me nothing. It is very good to know they stand behind their work, and send well-trained people to do it.

We have hired Blackdog for several remodeling projects over the past 8 years. Our most recent project was a complete re-do of the kitchen and an overall of the screened in porch into a 3-season porch. There are so many positives about Blackdog, it's hard to know where to start. The main reason we love Blackdog is that they start on time, finish when they say they will, and they stay on budget. There are very few surprises. The subcontractors they hired to install hardwood flooring, the tile installers, the painters, as well as their own carpenters and workmen are always top quality and reliable. But we also love Blackdog because they listen and give excellent advice. We have an older 1920's home that we love. We wanted to upgrade the kitchen but we also wanted to keep the flavor of the 1920's. The kitchen, and all of the other remodeling work Blackdog has done for us, looks like it was built as part of the original house. Everything blends in perfectly, but still looks modern and efficient. Blackdog is not always the lowest price, but they are worth it. We absolutely love them.

We have worked with Blackdog on many residential & small commercial projects over the past 15 years with great success. However the renovation project for Andover Classic Wines stands above all other jobs we have been part over. Difficult job, condensed time frame & total altering of the visual look of the store was completed without any issues. Today new customers are still remarking on how store looks, great job of coordinating all trades by Blackdog Project Management Team.
