They did quality work and our project manager, Juan Flores was excellent - one of the best persons I have worked with.

Despite being paid for almost the entire project, Armando Flores abandoned the project without completion. Subsequently, we received a series of liens because he did not pay the subcontractors. We had to pay off the liens and hire a new contractor to finish off the project (a significant cost). Stay away from Armando Flores, Charco Design and Build, CDB.

My husband and I interviewed many different contractors and we decided to hire Charco DB for our home renovation, and we are so happy that we did. From the beginning Armando worked within our budget to provide us with a design that reflected our vision. Armando and the entire team at Charco went above and beyond to make sure we were happy during every step of the renovation. Juan, our project manager, Ana our designer, and all of the subcontractors that came into our home were wonderful. They were all professional, friendly and did outstanding work. People who visit our home now come in the front door and say “Wow”, which is exactly the end result we were hoping for. We highly recommend Charco Design and Build.

This was our second time to use Charco. It was a big project and they worked wonders. We couldn't be more pleased. The subs they use are top notch. Very polite, clean and do excellent work. Everyone in their office from the very top down to the last person, was extremely helpful, understanding and got the job done.

Charco did a terrific job with our remodel which included two new decks, a new backyard kitchen, concrete work, and renovation of our back wall with new sliding doors, lighting and window replacements. The job was done on time, and with considerable professionalism. Their team was considerate and worked well with our scheduling conflicts. We would highly recommend them.

Their designer, Ana, quickly understood our style preferences and was able to make the process of choosing fixtures, hard surfaces, and even paint colors so much easier! And their project manager, Kip, was superb in managing all the project details on a day-to-day basis. He is truly a seasoned veteran with a high attention to detail. He takes personal pride in the outcome of the project and has an excellent customer-first approach to his work. Overall we could not be more pleased with the result of our remodel project and I'm convinced we made the right choice when we went with Charco.

Great team effort from everyone on there team from start to finish . They pay attention to every detail. Such a joy when everyone is working together as one team .

The entire design and construction staff was outstanding. They had lots of great ideas and we always available to answer question. There were a few small problems and they were handled quickly and effienctly. Juan and Ana were especially helpful. When the project was done I was very pleased by the quality of the workmanship and attention to detail. Company was first rate from start to finish. They did the house from the paint in (including bathrooms, kitchen and expanding a landing to room sized area) and our patio as well and hit a home run in every area. On time and budget.

Unbelievable project, 8 months in duration but an absolute dream home! We hired Charco DB to do a major remodel on our home in Mission Bay Park. We rented a condo downtown so they had the entire home for 6-months. On the first level they put in a 900+ bottle wine cellar; second level was a complete kitchen remodel, including a 72 square foot island (seats 10) with a backlit granite top, they moved the front of home out and put on a large glass pivot front door and a new large front patio, on the third level they remodeled the guest room suite and its balcony, on the 4th level was a new home theater system; on the 5th level they enclosed a rooftop deck to make a beautiful indoor-outdoor room with a glass collapsing wall and custom fire-pit; they also added a 6th level which is out new rooftop deck with a custom outdoor cooking and dining area which includes a built-it granite table that seats six.
