From our first meetings, it was clear that she is extremely thoughtful, detail-oriented, and passionate about her work. She took the time to really understand what we wanted for our home and consistently came up with creative and clever design ideas. One thing that really stood out was how responsive and communicative she was throughout the entire process. Any time we had questions or concerns, she responded quickly and always made us feel supported and informed. Since this was our first time taking on a major remodel and ADU project, there were a lot of things we didn’t know going in, but Jeanne was incredibly patient and guided us through every step. She did an amazing job explaining the process, helping us understand our options, and making sure we felt comfortable with each decision along the way. “I was looking for a kitchen designer and found Fisher Gross on Houzz last November 2019. We met with Karen at Fisher Gross soon thereafter. She gave us 3 plans--all different which were amazing. She had ideas that we (and others who looked at the existing floor plan) had never dreamed of. We picked one of three plans then met with her later after she had fine tuned and detailed the plan we chose. We also hired her to over see the project from the start to finish for a reasonable fee. Although not required, we used the contractor and subs she recommended since she had worked with them before. She was also very hands on and met me at vendors showrooms to help me chose counter tops, flooring, lighting, fixtures, etc. Unfortunately our project started right before COVID hit so there were a few snags but she stuck with us and made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. I highly recommend Fisher Gross (and Karen). She has extensive knowledge and is a licensed general contractor in addition to being from a family of cabinet makers. This was huge because she knew what could and could not be done and could communicate well with our contractor. She was a delight to work with and returned my calls quickly.”
