Three words come to mind when we think of Edgeworks: Professionalism, Quality and Partners Edgework's entire team are construction professionals who know what they are doing. Donella was our designer and she was simply awesome to work with - she took the time to listen to what we wanted and what was most important to us. Then she layered on creative ideas and insights to build a design that we knew we'd love. And she was there with us throughout the project, helping us with selections and tweaks as we progressed. Kevin was our project manager and made the entire process simple. From his clear timelines, daily and weekly updates to helping us navigate options throughout the entire project, he was fully committed and readily available to answer any questions. Chris was also a regular on-site assisting Kevin and Chris helped ensure that a myriad of daily happenings went off without any major hitches. Simply an amazing team of professionals whom you'd be lucky to work with! Edgework's quality is evident along the way and as we look at the completed project. Whether it was their insights on selections to help ensure the right quality and finish, or the standards their workmanship and that of their subcontractors were held to, they didn't disappoint. If something wasn't just right, they probably noticed it and were working on it before we ever noticed. And if we saw something which we had questions about, they immediately took our concerns to heart and resolved it. I'm proud to show their work off to anyone, it's simply that good! Lastly, Edgework's partners. We've seen some subcontractors used by others and heard countless stories about individuals who simply didn't care or didn't treat the home as their own. That was not the case with Edgeworks. It's clear they select and work with some of the best - every single contractor who came into our home arrived dressed professionally for the job, was polite and treated our home how we expected it to be treated. We had such a wonderful experience with Edgeworks that we'd turn to them again for a future remodeling project. This was our first time doing a major remodel and EdgeWork was an amazing partner through the entire process. Dave and team spent countless hours with us - advising, guiding and rewriting proposals before we ever signed a single contract. Their commitment to clients is unmatched. This group is well worth the money! They may seem a bit more expensive than others but our experience was that you get what you pay for. We received amazing service, very professional workers, a clean workspace, and very respectful interactions. Our project leads Kevin and Chris were so friendly and patient with all of our questions, needs, and requests. The owner is an architect by trade and had incredibly creative ideas on how to work around the original odd designs of 1970s home. The end result is more beautiful than we had imagined. I highly recommend this group!

We hired Edgework Design Build to remodel our master bath and guest bath. This was the third project that Edgework did for us. We have found their workmanship to be excellent and their costs to be very competitive. We have recommended Edgework to others who have also been pleased with their work.

We heard of Edgwork Design from a coworker. During the initial meeting with Dave, we told him the specific things we wanted to change about our kitchen/living room area. Dave then asked some questions about how we used the space, what type of cooking we did, what type of entertaining we did - questions that really helped us figure out what would be the most value to us to have done. I made it very clear that we were on a strict budget so it was important to us that the design was focused on the key needs/wants and Dave absolutely delivered. We were very impressed with the plan - especially since it included everything we wanted plus other functional changes to capitalize on storage and countertop space. Once the project began, our project manager made sure to provide a project timeline and kept us updated of any changes. We found him to be very responsive to our concerns and questions that came up during the project. He responded quickly to emails or texts. The whole process went very smoothly - the contractors showed up on time and were very professional. Our project finished on time and on budget! Our kitchen/living room area was completely transformed and is now a space we really enjoy using and just hanging out in!

Edge Work was great to work with. The staff was responsive to our needs and willing to design around what we wanted to do. The work was scheduled to get tear out, plumbing, electrical and cabinetry and finishing (painting, etc.) done efficiently. We used their design consultant regarding tile choice and paint color. They completed the work in the anticipated time and, best of all it looks great! We love our new bathroom!

They were fantastic to work with! The project was done on time and within budget. They are a great team to work with! We will be using them again in the future.

Dave came to my home to give an estimate to repair after water damage. He did not offer a business card when he arrived. He asked me some personal questions about my home and family. I felt very uncomfortable and told him no more personal questions. He took the insurance adjusters 29 pages and then told me he wanted to speak to my adjuster and get all his pictures. What? I didn't get why he asks for all that in less than 5 minutes into my home. He asked "why I need to make this so difficult? " II was speechless. He said "this won't work." I agreed and walked him outside and closed the garage door.

This company is very professional, they have amazing ideas that incorporate current trends and fit the design of the home. This is the 3rd project we have done with EdgeWork and highly recommend the skilled and friendly team. We were out of town during the project and we were able to communicate with Skype, text , email and photos and our remodel got completed on time with exceptional wuality. We love to show it off!!

It was a real pleasure working with Edgework Builders. Our three season porch project presented some interesting challenges but Edgework was able to provide some very innovative options and solutions. The quality of work was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoy our new addition year round and truly appreciate the perspective and workmanship exhibited by Edgework. We would highly recommend them for any future project.

Dave designed my new bathroom and closet. This involved moving windows, redoing ceilings, as well as creating a whole new closet room! He was incredibly easy to work with, very flexible, and had a great vision. As a huge bonus, he was able to do the design and capture what I wanted after a quick conversation and a few emails! The quality is very good- just let them do the whole thing! Very happy with the project. They were more expensive than other options, but the flexibility and ease to work with more than made up for it.

Edgework did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. Dave Stockdale has a strong mind for design and came up with a great concept to take our single second floor bathroom and make it two separate bathrooms. Using essentially the same footprint he made a master bath and a bathroom for our kids. Kevin, our project manager, was very good to work with. He communicated well with my wife. She felt very comfortable talking to him when new ideas came up or there were changes she wanted to make. I look forward to working with them in the future.

David Stockwell met with myself and my wife to plan a replacement deck for our house. The design was not particularly different from the earlier deck, but the choice of materials were very different. David provided pictures of decks that he had recently completed and discussed the pros and cons of the decking materials and the railing configurations available to us. He then produced sketches and drawings of the completed deck. In several cases he made suggestions that were contrary to what we first thought we wanted, but which turned out to be the best for the finished product. His workers were well-trained and efficient and the project was timely.

Dave and his team did a major remodel of our Richfield, MN bungalow in 2006. This included gutting and finishing the entire upstairs interior, adding 600+ sq. ft, complete with new front porch, roofing and siding. When we had significant water damage in our basement in Spring of 2016, we had Edgework do the repairs and significant updates. Dave is a very creative and resourceful builder - much more than your typical "contractor." His eye for detail and utilization of space and design is why we continue to use and recommend him. He has also proven to cost competitive as we always get other bids. He also stays very close to timetable completion. And, if you want to do minor finishing, painting, etc. is willing to work with you on this. Everyone who comes into our home comments on the spacious and serene fee. How unique for bungalow in Richfield. What more can I say!

Dave and his team were fantastic to work with, highly recommended for the following reasons: 1. On time and budget (this is a RARE find in a GC) 2. Figuring out a plan that worked with my budget. Easy to understand proposal and estimate. 3. Creative ideas. 4. Seamless and prompt communication via phone, text and/or email. 5. Lockbox system to coordinate all the different people, I always felt safe especially being a female among all the guys. Everyone was very respectful. 6. Being very friendly and understanding of my 50lb dog dealing with all the new people. Actually they went above and beyond to be friendly to the dog which was very much appreciated. I intend to hire Dave and his team again if the need arises, they were a joy to work with!

I felt that Dave and his crew did a very good job on our remodeling project. Dave was easy to communicate with and responsive to my questions. I very much liked everyone in Dave's crew. My only disappointment was with the electrician who was involved with our project, but I think he was not part of Dave's regular crew, perhaps a "subcontract."

Edgeworks, provided me a great design and delivery experience on my 100year old house remodel. Dave S, the owner, is an honest and attentive remodeling contractor. He had great ideas for our extensive kitchen and master bath remodel. Edgework Builders did a great job for us. They added a sun room, and mud room and a basement below these. The work turned out excellent. I would recommend them to others.

Edgework was extremely professional throughout. Worked with us on our design - opened a wall, extended a countertop, made better use of existing windows and plumbed in a water line for the fridge. We were very happy in the new kitchen, and it had all of the finishing touches we'd hoped to make it "feel" new, as well. We have since moved out of the home but heard nothing but praise from our realtor, all of the prospective buyers, and the eventual buyer as well (also friends and family who saw the kitchen before we moved). Edgework made good use of our available space - for an old Mpls home, this is as high-class of a kitchen as we could have hoped for.

Edgeworkd Builders did a complete remodel of our kitchen. We chose Edgework because of the excellent work they have done for us in the past. Their bid was the lowest of the three that we obtained. Edgework started by working with our architect to refine the design. Our project involved gutting the kitchen down to the studs and the underlayments. It included wood flooring, new cabinetry, countertops, opening a bearing all into the dining room, lighting, tilework--in short, everything. Edegework uses excellent sub contractors and their quality of work is outstanding.

We hired Edgework Builders for our major home expansion, including a new kitchen, bedroom and lower-level laundry room. David stood out with his designs. He listened to what we wanted, incorporated our desires and suggested several ideas that improved the design. He was also skilled at communicating what could not/should not be done, offering ways for us to achieve the look without adding too much expense. One thing that stood out for us was our project manager Kevin. He was in daily contact with us and kept us informed on the progress. Kevin let us know any time there was going to be any type of delay. He was available any time we had a question or the few times we had a concern. He would quickly deal with any issue. Edgework builders did an excellent job for us. We have recommended them to our friends and will look to utilize them for our next project.

Edgework Builders remodeled our mid-century kitchen by expanding the exterior wall nine feet (160% increase) creating a breakfast zone and a bank of windows that captures a vista view of the landscaped garden/fire pit. A large island with unique storage elements acts as the center of "Kitchen Stadium" for entertainment and has become, really, the social hub. The Project also increased one bedroom by 60% with a bonus walk-in closet. Finally, this remodel provided a laundry center in the basement. The work was completed with high craftsmanship, professionalism and on-time. Our home was treated with respect and never just another "work site." This remodel was delivered with no disappointment!

My husband & I had our house built in 2000 and believe we did not receive very good advice on the planning of the house. The lower level really was disappointing but after meeting Edgework Builders in 2008 at a Remodeler's Showcase, asked for Dave Stockdales help. He submitted 3 plans offering 3 price points for us to choose from, and after deciding on the one that suited us Dave and his team performed a full remodel of our lower level including a two story house extension. This included adding an entirely new bathroom with an innovative steam bath, heated flooring, work out room, new fireplace, completely different layout, giving us much more open space and a beautiful bar area with gorgeous built-ins and a media console that compliments the room. The woodwork is of top notch quality. Where we requested changes along the way, they accommodated us without hesitation. The quality of the work was very good and they finished the project according to the timeline presented to us. We were thrilled with the end result and now in 2014, still love it! We were proud to be on display for the 2009 Remodeler's Showcase and do believe those that viewed the remodel were extremely complimentary, especially our friends who had seen the original layout. We have since had Edgework do some minor work which goes to show that we trust Dave and his crew.

The guys at Edgework Builders did a fabulous job on my bathroom remodel. They were dependable & professional and listened to what I wanted. As a result, my bathroom turned out gorgeous. When people see it, they ask if they can take pictures!

Edgework Builders just completed a room addition plus kitchen & bathroom remodel in my home. I am thrilled with the results! Dave did a great job of designing the project and making modifications when structural obstacles came up. His attention to detail really makes a difference. All the members of his crew were very professional and considerate of my comfort while living in the "construction zone". They all take pride in high quality work. Dave was referred to me by a neighbor who was highly satisfied with his team - as am I! He is a great listener who tailors and tweaks his design ideas to create a plan even better than imagined. He was patient in answering questions and quick to turnaround revised drawings. When it was time for us to decide on faucets, etc , Dave created a tracking chart that made it easy to see open selections and costs vs budget. Again, he was patient and responsive in answering questions. I appreciated being able to confirm/finalize tile, granite, cabinet and paint selections with a designer after having done some initial legwork. That process worked perfectly for efficiency and confidence. With the selections complete, I trusted Dave, Kevin and the team to complete the majority of the work on both bathrooms (including moving walls, adding a spa shower,changing doorways, and inserting a skylight ) while we were away. They did a great job - even emailing progress pictures. The one problem we had was not his fault, but the glass wall/door suppliers measured incorrectly for the custom glass (delaying the project). The second time, they installed the glass improperly. But Dave came up with a solution and made it right. I was also a bit picky on stain color for the glass and wood slider door to the bedroom, and they tweaked the color to my liking. Clearly, customer satisfaction is a top priority! Overall, both bathrooms (and the guest room from which we took space), look fantastic! The spaces are much more comfortable, open, light and functional. The extra touches in the cabinetry styling and usable cabinet/drawer space as well as the heated floors and the shower jets are wonderful. Thanks so much! Since the project, I've contacted Dave on two other (unrelated) issues with the house and he's been very helpful in providing qualified resources. This was above and beyond and is really appreciated
