The team at Oak and Broad were always very responsive guiding me through the options and decisions. The samples matched perfectly with the final product that arrived. Joel was a true professional and very patient with us - giving us the confidence to purchase from Oak & Broad. It took many months for us to make the critical decision on the floor stain and final size of the hardwood wide planks. We requested and received several hardwood samples over several months from Joel before making our final selection. He was very understanding throughout this time. Joel coordinated shipment to a FedEx depot such that our contractor could pickup the large load of flooring and get it to our house. Installation was fairly straightforward using Joel’s suggestions for adhesive manufacturers and stapling. Overall, Joel was always reachable by email or phone and was extremely responsive. From start to finish I was very pleased with the customer service from Joel the owner of Oak and Broad. I was looking all over for light colored white oak wide plank flooring. I did a lot of research and realized I didn't want to go with a company that manufactors out of the country given the problems with quality control and chemicals. I also didn't want to spend the money that some other companies were charging for wood from US trees in wide plank. I can't afford 20 a square foot!! Joel helped me to pick out a good sample and recommended rustic grade to save a bit of money. I was also looking for a more natural look so this was a perfect fit!! I did a number of renovations in my new home and honestly the floors get by far the most accolades. They are stunning and exactly what I was looking for. The personal touch from Joel, the US trees used to make the flooring, and the absolutely beautiful outcome is why I'm giving Oak and Broad a 5 star review. These floors will be dearly cherished for a lifetime!

My wife and I bought an 1895 farmhouse in the heart of a historical area called Chagrin Falls, Ohio back in November 2017 (big fixer upper). We spent months browsing and selecting images and items we loved on Houzz in preparation for our renovation. This is how we found Joel of Oak and Broad. We could tell from the pictures of his floors that they were stunning and high quality material. First, let me begin by saying whether you are doing a small project or big project, Joel makes you feel important to him and his company, which is an indication of someone who loves his job and who provides quality to his clients. Joel was thorough, prompt with responses, and explained in detail his product versus peers. After requesting multiple samples we ended up on 6 inch, character grade, white oak in a natural finish. The quality is impeccable and the beauty in character grade (worm holes) is exactly what we were looking for. Maintaining the character of the era of our home while updating the look of our home was imperative to us and Joel helped us achieve that. We can’t thank Joel enough and would not hesitate to use him and his company again! P.S. I’m slightly OCD so I’m not an easy person to impress yet Joel achieved it and more. Don’t hesitate, give him a call...I promise you won’t regret your decision!
