As the owner and founder of Alder Homes, I strive to work with a team of sub-contractors who pride themselves not only on their high level of craftsmanship, but, more importantly, their commitment to strong business and personal ethics. In seeking out above-average craftsmen, I have found there is a greater passion and respect for quality in every aspect and greater sense of pride in a job exceptionally well done. I personally stand behind the work of every individual who becomes a part of creating an Alder home. One of the greatest benefits of Alder Fine Homes is that throughout construction you only communicate with me, the owner of the company. There is no chain of commands to navigate when making decisions as with larger builders. I personally visit each site daily to inspect progress and quality. Custom building our new home with Dusty Hutchison of Alder Fine Homes was a great experience! We chose Dusty because of the high quality and style that we saw in his homes. We are absolutely happy with the entire process. There was not much "lag" time between contractors, so our house was built pretty much on schedule, except for weather delays in the beginning. Dusty worked with us and listened to our wishes, while making suggestions that we would not have thought about. We love our beautiful new home! We recommend Alder Fine Homes to anyone thinking about building a custom home or purchasing an existing home.

I would recommend Dusty Hutchison of Alder Fine Homes to anyone looking to build very attractive, quality home at a fair price. You could probably find a cheaper builder, but you will get what you pay for. After interviewing several builders we decided on Dusty based on the aesthetics of his previous projects and his up front communication style. My family and I could not be more pleased with the results. Building a house is a stressful process for those who have never done it before. It never goes perfectly, no matter how big or small. There will be mistakes made by you, the contractors, the builder, etc. The biggest factor to get you through the entire process is trust, and Dusty earned our trust completely. We always felt that he had our best interest at heart and when mistakes were made (even our own) he made things right.

Dusty was very fair on upgrades and in many cases didn't add any additional cost. He paid attention to details and completed the punch list timely and to my satisfaction. We worked with the owner to install a barn door in our house using a pre-made kit. When the provided door wasn't the quality we were expecting (ordered online), Dusty took the time to make us a door from scratch to help us achieve the desired result. We really appreciated his attention to detail and absolutely love how it turned out. We've toured his homes numerous times and you can see the pride he puts into them. We'll, without a doubt, be using him in the near future when we're ready to build our next home.

Builder paid attention to detail at first, but as the process went along the attention declined. If we had not paid attention and visited new house daily the finishing touches would not have ended up the way they did.
