About Us

BEST OF HOUZZ 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2015. Dillard Pierce Design Associates is the resulting merger of two established interior design firms, Dillard Design Group and Pierce Design Associates. Both firms provided professional design services to the Atlanta area for over 14 years. Headed by Christy Dillard Kratzer and Heidi Pierce, Dillard Pierce Design Associates now represents a combination of creativity, energy and professional talent which spans a broad range of project types. Their portfolio includes residential, corporate, hospitality, medical, and retail projects. With a focus on classic design, fine detailing, and customization, Dillard Pierce works within a range of styles to meet the needs and fit the lifestyle of each client. Under the name Dillard Pierce Collection, Christy and Heidi also design a line of high-end home furnishings and accessories that include tables and case pieces, wall covering, floor screens, mirrors, and decorative trays and boxes. All products are produced in their Atlanta studio.

I strongly recommend Dillard Pierce Design Associates for any exterior or interior design project you may have. Not only are Christy and Heidi talented designers but they are both outstanding listeners. I relied on Christy and Heidi 100% and was not disappointed. I am a busy professional, and the team was incredibly patient with me to make decisions, find a time to meet, and even helped oversee deliveries, paint jobs, returns, and installations...I honestly couldn't do it on my own without their expertise, hard work, professionalism and kindness. I love the beautiful exterior they created!

These two decorators are well-suited to whatever level of decorating assistance you may need. They complement each other very well and their team effort is synergistic, no matter your decorating style. We were impressed with the level of detail, thoroughness, and sophistication they put into creating a design plan for us as we update the kitchen and bedroom in our 20 year old home. We would use them again and highly recommend them to others.

With Christy's knowledge in the design industry, each room that she touched was transformed into an experience all its own. She has an amazing eye for color and fabric and knows how to mix and match so the room comes together effortlessly. She chooses only quality furniture and furnishings and knows how to use high-end pieces along with more affordable pieces to make the most of your budget. And she's great at working with the things you already have. After finishing the "first phase" of our home, my husband and I were so pleased with Christy's work, her taste in design, and professionalism, we asked her and her partner, Heidi, to "transform" our entire first floor, ranging from hardwood floors to redesigning the fireplace, to new kitchen cabinets, wall colors, window treatments, new bathroom. We are confident that with Christy and Heidi's attention to detail our home will become the beautiful, updated house we've dreamed about.

I have known Christy Dillard for over 12 years and have had the priviliedge of hiring her to decorate my home in Buckhead. Christy took the necessary time to understand my requests, style preference and budget limitations. In addition, Christy incorporated many of my current pieces and updated rooms with her unique, fashion forward sense of style. Christy is particularly strong in her ability to match fabrics for furniture, draperies and accessories. Because I was so impressed and satisfied with Christy's work, I hired her when I moved to Austin, TX . I have referred her to a friend in Chicago, where Christy is renovating and decorating the entire home. The work she completed in the Chicago home is absolutely gorgeous. She has transformed that home into a warm, inviting, beautiful home worthy of magazine covers. I would highly recommend Christy Dillard for any designer needs someone may have.

Christy has worked with us on many projects. She always has a vision that works for us! We have enjoyed every project and is fun to work with. She is original in her ideas and a master at balancing the newest trends with a timeless approach. Her eye is impeccable if you are interested in a transitional look but also know she can weave her magic in any style. We are also grateful that she is extremely conscious of budget and timing, many times those variables create the most restrictions and she helps find the right options so everyone walks away completely excited about their new project. What a joy to work with!
