Karen Taff gave our condo WOW factor! When we purchased our condo in a brand new highrise, I inquired about finding someone to help with selecting colors, lighting, window treatments, built-ins, furnishings - and all within a budget. Karen Taff came highly recommended from the developer and the condo staff, as she had worked in many capacities with the design and interior decoration of the building. She also has a degree in design, has worked for design companies assisting homeowners, condominium developers and hotels nationwide. At our first meeting, she was so attentive and listened to our needs, the way we lived, our style and likes and our budget. She formulated a plan - reviewing color selections, selecting window treatment fabric, ordering built-in cabinetry, anticipating lighting needs and coordinating contractors. Karen has a positive and energetic personality that is contagious, and connects so well with people. We shopped together, and she was relentless searching for just the right pieces for the right prices. Karen made furnishing our condo a creative and wonderful experience. One memory that will always stick with me, is her insight and dedication to her clients and her profession. The day all of our furnishings were delivered, our condo was a huge mess, filled with giant boxes, items that needed assembly, mattresses and beds that needed to be set up, etc! - when I received a call - my elderly parents, who live in another state, needed a place to stay to evacuate from a hurricane heading their way. They were flying in later that evening. I couldn't imagine how to get our place in any order in a matter of hours before their arrival. Karen sensed my concern and urgency- soothed my worries saying she would take care of it, and sent me off to the airport to collect my folks. When I returned, it was as if Santa and his elves had magically transformed our condo - it was spectacular!! It sparkled!! It was so beautiful and inviting - Karen had staged it perfectly with her magic wand. When someone takes a real interest to go above and beyond when you are in need, that is a loyal and true friend - Karen is just that....and one incredible designer.

We worked with Karen Taff to furnish our three bedroom condo in Orlando, Florida. At the time of the purchase, we were living in California so we needed to work with an interior designer and manage the process via conference calls. Deciding to work with Karen was the best decision we made! Karen was professional from the start taking the time to understand our needs, tastes and lifestyle so that she could decorate our new home to meet our expectations while staying within budget. Karen guided us to spend more money on a few key pieces of furniture and build around those focal pieces with less expensive items. The result was an elegantly furnished home which continues to garner compliments from everyone who sees it. We highly recommend Karen to anyone looking for an experienced, creative interior designer.
