I hired Mary to help redo many rooms in my house. Some rooms needed complete makeovers; others were in need of minor changes and additions like artwork, accessories, or new bedding. Mary has been an outstanding designer to work with. She is creative, kind, talented and very experienced, and all her relationships with various vendors in the industry have been essential in creating beautiful designs. In the beginning, she took the time to understand my needs and design style and modified the usual way she works with clients to allow me more involvement in the design creation. In the days before we would meet, for example, she has allowed me to look through furniture and accessories from vendors to find pieces I like and to create some design possibilities to show her during meetings. I really have appreciated this collaboration, in particular, for the great room and for the media room. Usually for clients, she will bring two or three ideas to them to choose from, which she has done for me, too. She has worked with me both ways. I trust and value her opinions, ideas and expertise about designs. They are invaluable, and because of her, the rooms have turned out beautifully. I would also like to praise her for the extraordinary job she does in choosing and putting together accessories to make a room complete. I am very impressed with her care, her accomodation, the time she has devoted to my project, her attention to the smallest details and her outstanding eye for design. Mary just transformed our home into a welcoming beautiful place we love. Our house went from wild colors to an up to date palette. Mary has a great eye for color! The furniture and accessories she chose for us were totally our taste and we love everything! She has done several projects for us and I can’t say thank you enough!

We have been working with Mary since June. It has been a pleasure. We recently downsized to our retirement home and Mary has helped us with everything from window coverings, furniture, floor coverings, art, etc. She has an excellent sense of design and artistic vision. She has chosen items that we love. She spends time getting to know the clients and their tastes. She has a good network of suppliers for a range of unique items. The contractors she uses for window coverings and special carpentry projects are excellent. She has been very helpful in dealing with supply problems.

We have been working with Mary since 2011. Mary has helped us with small decorating projects, as well as very large projects including completely redecorating our lake house, and most recently an interior remodel and a screened in porch addition in Oct 2021. Mary always brings excellent design ideas and creativity to our projects, no matter how small or big. We highly recommend Mary. Working with Mary makes the process so much easier, she takes the stress out of picking options, and with her expert advice we always have great confidence that we will love the end product. For our interior remodel and screened in porch addition, we couldn’t have done this without Mary. She was instrumental in designing the plans, making all of our finish, flooring and lighting selections, and decorating the space. We love our new spaces thanks to Mary!

After Mary did a beautiful job decorating my parent's house, I hired Mary to help me decorate my condo. I can't say enough great things about working with Mary. She has an eye for color and creates a very put together and high end look in any size space. Mary picks out unique pieces, and in my case, worked really well with pieces I already had. Everything Mary picked out for my home sparks joy. I recommend her to all my family and friends.

Mary helped us when we first moved into our dream house in 2012. Neither my husband nor I have a clue when it comes to decor, but she immediately honed in on our tastes and we loved the result. We would come home to lamps, knick knacks, and paintings she had picked out and loved them all. She worked within our financial comfort zone at that time. We are nearing the completion of a whole house renovation and Mary has been an integral and important part of this process. Her vision and design advice have made our home’s decor wonderful. We are so pleased with everything she has helped us with. At each meeting with her she was very well prepared, organized and respectful of our time. My fiancee and I are currently working with Mary to decorate our new home. She is handling the entire project for us and we are so happy with the results so far. She has excellent taste and has an eye for putting items together that is unmatched. She referred us to a contractor who installed and resanded existing wood floors and he was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond for us. She will work with items we really like and want to keep but knows when something needs to go.

I recently moved and sold everything. I had to start fresh and Mary did a wonderful job making my new house my own. She picked out elegant items for each room and gave me ideas I never would have thought of. The house has such a comfortable feel to it that its the center for family and friends to gather. Lets not forget the pets! Two dogs and a cat... Mary made them feel comfortable too! Would use her again 100 times over!

Our Law Firm engaged Mary to design and furnish an historic building built in 1840. She listened carefully to our ideas, and quickly learned our tastes and personalities. The finished product, including color palate, furnishings, and art, exceeded our expectations. Frequent comments about the building from clients, friends and business associates are "Simply Amazing" and "Most beautiful building in the Historic District". We could not be more pleased with the finished space and it was easy and a pleasure to work with a true professional like Mary. I look forward to the next project with her.

We've had the opportunity to work with Mary on a couple of recent Epic Group Ohio renovations, some photos attached, and it was a fabulous experience! Mary's insight and overall design inspiration for this project set the tone for everything from the cabinets and appliance finish to paint colors, tile, etc. Her knowledge of trends - and what will have the most lasting impact - are spot on and her ability to source from avenues not available to most of us is just as invaluable! Anyone can make a room look "good" with accessories and lighting from the usual sources...but what Mary finds is SO fabulous! She helped the homeowners stay right on budget and always provided the selections information we needed in a timely fashion to keep the renovation on schedule! Her work is amazing and we love to be able to refer her!

Though Mary has many clients she is accessible, goes out of her way to be available in a short notice time crunch and always has excellent advice. She took the time to understand my aesthetic preferences and helps guide me to the appropriate materials. She has excellent knowledge from the initial remodeling design through the selection of finishes. It has been a joy to work with her.

I hired Mary 12 months ago in July 2014 after moving from California to Columbus with only a guest bedroom set and TV in my possession! I had a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 1544 ft.²condo to furnish and I had no idea where to start nor the time to do my it justice. Admittedly, I knew nobody in Columbus so had to rely on a Google search to find an interior designer. I got REALLY lucky. I felt she got my style after one meeting even though I didn't know exactly what my style was (I described it as "I know when I see it if I like it"). I initially hired her to address my dining area-living area space but I loved her work so much that I hired her to do my whole condo. We are still working on some of the details like accessories, but the transformation has been stunning. It has elegance, warmth, and sophistication. She picks out pieces and colors that I never would have chosen on my own but once they are in the space they look perfect. Finally,, the hasslefree component of hiring a designer is so worth it. I don't have to be home when the furniture is arriving, she will be present to acccept it. Then, she will arrange everything while you're gone and you get to come home to a wonderful surprise and have that HGTV moment! A few pieces of furniture arrived broken such as a mirror broken (they are shipped in from all over the world so I guess those things happen) and she takes care of all of it - whether it is to reorder it for have a local repair man come to fix it. No worries on your part and completely professional. Overall, I am completely satisfied with the quality of furniture, professionalism, and love, love, love the overall appearance of my condo. I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend Mary to anybody with either small or large projects!

Mary is the best of the best! I have worked on several projects with her since 1998 and would not consider doing any of these without her. These included removing a wall between my kitchen and family room,painting the paneling and totally refurnishing the family room. Next she redesigned my kitchen,powder room,living room,dining room and finished basement. This included kitchen cabinets,wood floors,granite counters,and faux painting.Her creativity and attention to every detail is amazing. Currently we are doing a major upgrade on two bathrooms. Mary once said to me that she does not follow the trends but that her goal is to stay ahead of them. She certainly does it. Every area she does turns into a WOW! I love working with her.There is a lot of hard work and choices,but she makes it fun and exciting.Over the years I feel that Mary has become my friend and I will continue to see her for future projects.

Mary's an extrodinarily talented designer. Her award winning designs in the BIA Parade of Homes, particularly the Gold Medal she received for her 2013 Parade design was very deserved. I love the furnishings she selected for our home and the fact she was able to work within our budget. I will certainly hire her for any future projects.

Mary assisted me in redecorating my home. I thought she did a really good job and had some fresh and new ideas that updated my home but kept in time with my desire for being respectful of the character and charm that my older home provides. Each room flows to the next with regard to complimentary paint colors, window treatments and furniture. I think Mary has great ideas, contacts and can get discounts at some of the big box furniture stores but also can provide signature pieces that seem to be 'one of a kind' and our guests comment on when they visit our home. Overall, I was very pleased with Mary's expertise and ideas.

When I moved from a condo into a 6,500 square foot home, I hired Mary to help me select furnishings, accessories, paint, and window treatments. I loved working with Mary. She worked within my budget, and would find options I loved, but would not have selected on my own. She quickly learned the look I liked, but didn't hesitate to tell me if she didn't think what I selected was "right". She would always find a wonderful alternative - a perfect compromise between my taste and what a design expert would select! And the result was amazing! A home that reflects a better me than I would have have ever imagined or accomplished without her help. My favorites were accessorizing days. I would come home from work and accessories would be placed throughout. It was like Christmas. She would leave an inventory/price list, and I would select what I wanted to keep and what I wanted her to take back. Most of it stayed! And now, 13 years later, I am looking to Mary to help me with my interior design as I move from family home, back into a condo!

I have hired Mary on several occasions for various projects. I have found her to be insightful and creative in her approach. She is extremely accommodating in working within my budget and listened to my priorities. She was able to use some of my existing pieces and by accessorizing and adding some new artwork literally transformed my home. I have recommended Mary on many occasions to friends and family and they have had the same positive experience.

I hired Mary to provide a design plan for my kitchen & dining room that was converted to a playroom. Mary is friendly & seems knowledgeable. However, she was extremely difficult to get in touch with & it took a significant amount of time to get a design plan sent to me. When the design plan was sent - sources were not noted & requirements that were discussed were not included. After some back & forth, Mary attempted to rectify. However, overall I was very unhappy with her communication, follow-up, & professionalism. She may be better with larger projects.
