Michael Whaley is the most gifted designer I have ever had the privilege to work with. He is a perfectionist who is capable of performing in the most professional way. I have worked with him as a client and as a realtor recommending him to my clients. Not only is he brilliant, but he is one of the funniest men I have ever met. He is a delight to work with. He has done two homes for me and I could not be happier with him and his creative work.

We have designed and installed numerous kitchens for his project, and it is always a pleasure to do so. Michael has the sharpest eye of anyone that we've ever worked with, and every project is impeccably detailed and coordinated. His designs were structured enough to be cohesive, but he always allowed us to exercise creativity and bring our experience to bear where we could.

I have been working with Michael over the years and he is fantastic! He is fun, knowledgeable and professional and has been able to take my vision and make it even better than I imagined. Even as we have moved around to different houses he was able to update the look while still retaining a lot of the design investments we have made along the way. We just finished another project with him and are so pleased with the high quality and craftsmanship that he insists on in all of his design work.

Michael Whaley helped supervise a project to restore my New York City home from a flood in 2011. He was directly responsible for replacing my entire kitchen, including cabinetry, counter tops, lighting and flooring and rebuilding a portion of a wall. The project took seven months. The project was complicated (thus the long time-line) by the fact that all the flooring of an area of about 1000 square feet, had to be demolished to the rubble (this is a ground floor flat) and then restored in the style of 1928, the vintage of the building, before the kitchen could be re-installed. In fact, the materials originally installed in this previously perfectly renovated home (2006), were no longer available for use in 2011. Michael assisted me in every minute detail, to not only recreate on budget, but actually improve the beauty and functionality of the space. Michael is an artist in his approach, with impeccable taste, combined with important experience and resources, who listened, gathered options and delivered exquisite results. The sub-contractors he brought with him were top drawer. There is not one person who comes into this space who does not express their admiration for my fabulous kitchen, dining/living room and entryway of my newly renovated home. The results are timeless and elegant, and even better than what I had before my travail. Michael is a rare gentleman and an expert in his field. In two previous homes, I had used the services of Jamie Drake and his associates. Though different in design style and taste, I would place them easily on a par with one another.

Michael Whaley is simply the best. He has impeccable taste and a great sense of style that shines through all of his work. He is an excellent listener and really partners with the client to achieve the ultimate result. He is always cheerful, gregarious, and adheres strictly to budgets and timelines.
