Wise Design

We met with two designers for a 90 minute design consultation. It was just the right level of service for our project, and I feel a lot more confident that we're making good choices for our bathroom update. The designers were really knowledgeable and helped select materials that will last and create a cohesive space. They also helped with creative ideas to make the most out of our limited space. We're considering a larger project in the future and will definitely go back.

We are moving into a new house and needed advice on accent walls, cabinet color changes, as well as furniture and fixtures for living/dining room. We booked the 90 min consult. The consult surpassed our expectations to be honest. Not only do they provide immediate ideas and suggestions for our questions, they also thoroughly document colors, furniture, fixtures, dimensions for us to refer to at a later point in time. I would absolutely recommend them.

Their advice was perfectly tailored for our taste, style, and house, and they brought up great ideas and considerations that we hadn't considered ourselves. Plus, they were just plain lovely people. I’d been flip-flopping trying to decide if I should splurge on getting a second opinion for the remodel of my kitchen. Ryan and Tamara arrived full of energy, knowledge, perspective and great communication skills. They adroitly managed to change my pig-headed mind and avoided me making crucial mistakes. I got detailed notes, a handy professional sketch, contractor referrals and a path forward on my remodel. Highly recommended.

It was our first renovation project and we realized soon into it that we needed a lot of help with the design decisions. A friend recommended Wise Design and we are so glad they did! It was such a pleasure working with Ryan and Annie. Communication was easy and they provided such thoughtful direction. Help with visualizing the space made all the difference. We had an issue with our tile and they were available right away to help us make the quick decision. We will be reaching out again on our next project!

I found Wise design after noticing Annie's play room designs online. We booked an e-consult service for a powder bath design and it was perfect. After 90 minutes we left with a 3-D featuring all the fixtures/vanity and three wall covering options. Annie and Ryan were thoughtful, worked off of my vision (but of course made it so much better) and were efficient. It was perfect and I look forward to working with them again online.

From start to finish, Wise Design was awesome, setting the standard for creativity, professionalism, reliability and superb communication. I only wish all contractors were half as great. Strongly recommended!

We worked with Annie on her team to transform our awkwardly-shaped kitchen nook into a usable space for storage, a desktop computer and a table. They came up with a beautiful, functional design that fits an impressive amount of function into the space and looks like it was always part of the kitchen. We also so appreciated their help with the project management phase.

Annie and her team did a beautiful job with furnishing the main floor of our home. They were professional, organized and fun to work with. Communication was clear and costs were made transparent. Annie designed a new built-in desk, cabinet and sofa, creating a living room in a space that we wouldn't have guessed could be so functional and beautiful. She was able to take our rather unformed ideas about what we might like and translate them in to unique furnishings that feel like a perfect fit for our family. Now that we know how good our house can look and feel, we'd love Annie to redesign and furnish the other floors! I also plan to use her for my upcoming office remodel.

As we embarked on our basement remodel, we were fortunate enough to win some of Annie’s time through an elementary school raffle (she was very generous to donate her hours). Never having used a designer, we didn’t know exactly what to expect, but she has far exceeded any expectations that we did have. Our first challenge came with wanting to cram about 7 different functional areas into a relatively small basement space. We worked through some layouts on our own beforehand, but were never completely satisfied with any of them. When Annie came into the picture, she immediately made a few modifications that made complete sense and opened up all common areas nicely while creating private spaces where needed. Then, when we began to talk through finishes, my husbands’ and my different aesthetic preferences came into play. We are not polar opposites, but have some varied ideas as to what the perfect basement looks and feels like. After sending Annie some inspiration photos, she compiled a portfolio that perfectly combined our tastes. In addition to giving general design ideas, she provided very specific suggestions of flooring/tile brands and colors, paint, furniture, etc, as well as local places where we can buy these items for reasonable prices. We both walked away from our portfolio meeting with her extremely energized. Our last renovation was stressful and anxiety provoking, and Annie has made this one fun by taking out the most challenging parts for us. While we “won” our first hours, we definitely plan to add on more, and to use Annie for all of our future remodel projects (and there will be more).

We hired Wise Design to help us with our kitchen/dining remodel. Annie's eye for layout and design was incredibly helpful. She thought of layout considerations we would have never thought of on our own, advised us on color and design combinations to achieve the look we were after and found lighting options that brought the two rooms together beautifully.
