Denise is wonderful to work with. For our project she designed and produced blueprints for updates to our 2 bathrooms and laundry room but also included a design for a new foyer which I never thought was possible. During the whole design and construction process she was readily available whenever the contractor or I had questions. Denise assisted with picking all finishes, including cabinet colors, wall colors, hardware and tile. Denise also stopped by several times to check on the progress. She was truly interested in the details of the project and making sure I was happy. Needless to say I am very happy and look forward to working with her again.

We loved working with Denise! She helped us design and pick out finishes for our primary bathroom remodel. Denise was so creative in her use of space while designing, and we feel like we gained so much space with only moving a wall 22 inches. She came up with two designs and we honestly loved both. Denise was also so helpful in picking out tile options, vanities and finishes. Denise really listened to what I wanted and while she picked out a lot of the finishes, the bathroom still very much feels like our style. She also recommended a fantastic contracting company to do the work, and they worked very well together to get the project completed on time! Overall we are so happy and will definitely use Denise's services for future projects!

From our initial conversation, I knew I wanted to work with her based on her kind, knowledgeable, and professional demeanor. Others have noted and I will confirm, her positive attitude and personality are a rare joy in the renovation business. I contracted with Denise for a complete kitchen gut and redesign in a downtown condominium that had it's own set of logistical challenges. She tackled each of those with grace and grit and approached the more enjoyable part of the project in a truly collaborative spirit. She delivered an exceptional result, navigating sub-contractors and installers and worked seamlessly with the design firm on carpentry, millwork, and finishing. Throughout the months-long project, she made herself available for all manner of design consultation and fielded those inevitable panicked phone calls that come with construction in an assured and calming manner. Her established relationships with her suppliers for cabinetry, appliances, countertops, hardware, etc. helped ease the stress of the seemingly endless array of material selection. Whether it was agonizing over granite slabs, integrated panel refrigerators, or kitchen faucets she continually made the effort to meet in person, onsite at the showrooms to offer her expertise and advice and help finalize selections. She is a busy professional with an extensive portfolio, rightfully so as her work speaks for itself. If you're lucky enough to book her services, you will not be disappointed!

Denise helped my husband and I with a design plan for remodeling our outdated 90s kitchen, dining, bathroom and mudroom space. After listening to our needs and creating various design layouts for us to play with, Denise created a thoughtful, modern and functional space that is now the pride of my home. We felt at ease with her right from the start, and her professionalism and friendliness made the entire process relaxed and fun. Through email, zoom (mid-covid) or in person, she was always available to help with the little details that seemed to overwhelm me when deadlines approached. Her input on cabinet selection, appliance layout and bathroom & mudroom functionality was a huge help as we tried to plan a more open feel without losing the cozy vibe the home originally had. Denise was recommended by our wedding photographer, who had used her services for her kitchen remodel. Knowing we had a similarly aged house and style, we decided to hire Denise for our own kitchen renovation. From the beginning, Denise was easy to work with and extremely helpful (she even recommended a great contractor). For our project, we ended up taking down two walls, but Denise's design allowed us to keep ample storage while also creating an amazing entertaining space. I loved that Denise was willing to help with as little or as much of the design work as we wanted and ultimately helped us pick cabinets and other design items within our budget (without sacrificing style or function). We have loved getting to know her and definitely trust her eye for design. She was also extremely helpful when it came to answering small questions our contractor had, which gave us peace of mind. I can't wait to get started on our next project together!

Denise has all of the qualities that make her the perfect kitchen and bath design professional. She listened, understood our budget, was creative with design ideas, really knows kitchen layout guidelines & requirements, quickly resolved minor issues that arose, and was in communication throughout the project. Besides being incredibly professional, she is also very upbeat and a pleasure to work with. Denise helped turn our dream into a reality! We moved to the North Shore area in 2018 from Nashville and could not find anything which matched our style. We decided to buy an outdated home with "good bones" and do a complete remodel. We could not have done it without help from Denise. We literally felt like we were on an HGTV show as she brought to life ideas with her 3D renderings. She was very patient with us as we must have gone through 25 different versions of our kitchen which included moving it into the living room! She came up with some genius ideas which made a huge difference helping us achieve the look and feel we were going for. Outside of the design work, she did offer her cabinets but was not pushy about us using them which was nice. I would highly recommend Denise for anyone who is looking to do any significant remodel project!

Denise was a pleasure to work with! She was particularly helpful with out cabinet layout. We went through several iterations and creative ideas before we found the right fit. She was patient and helpful through each iteration, while maintaining the goals we had for the whole plan (symmetry, function of each cabinet as well as the whole layout). The end result is one I would not have changed one bit.

Denise was recommended by a friend. We have a small home with a small galley kitchen. We initially thought that we would keep the same footprint and just update the cabinets and countertops. After speaking with Denise, who really listened to our preferences, concerns and budget, she made wonderful suggestions which changed the footprint slightly, added additional cabinetry, and as a result our kitchen looks so much more spacious and bright, and is so much more functional. We really appreciated that she always kept our budget in mind in the design and her product recommendations. We loved the 3-D renderings which helped to visualize her recommended changes. Denise helped us to choose products and colors which pulled the concept together. We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen! In addition to Denise's professionalism, expertise and talent, she is so friendly, easy to work with, and fun. Denise Merbeth was recommended by a friend of a friend. Her work and ideas are outstanding! Denise is very knowledgeable about the design process, and I would go so far as to call her an expert. We have soffits at the back of our kitchen that were going to be removed so that we our cabinets could extend to the ceiling. While our contractor told us the soffits could be removed, Denise insisted that he open the soffit to make sure they were not needed for structural reasons. As it turned it, there were roof structural supports in the soffit and the soffits could not be removed. Her expertise saved us a lot of money and the trouble of having to re-order cabinets because they would have been too tall. Denise is very detailed and very thorough in the design process so that everything would work together. She provided us with drawings in addition to 3D renderings which were very helpful in being able to visualize the designs. Denise also sells two different lines of kitchen cabinets. We did exhaustive research into kitchen cabinets and ended up ordering our cabinets through Denise. We went with the Welling cabinets. We LOVE them and feel they are an excellent quality cabinet. In conclusion, I'd say you cannot go wrong with partnering with Denise. She goes over and above to provide superior customer service!

Denise is just amazing! I had been day dreaming about renovating my vintage Wawautosa colonial home for nearly 2 years and finally got serious about making the project happen. I decided I needed to have a professional space and interior planner review the project and help us work through some ideas. The second I met Denise I knew she was going to be a great fit. She really listens to your ideas and helps make them come to life! We worked with Denise on a new kitchen layout for our home which involved removing a wall, reconfiguring the layout and making a more modern family-friendly space . With our home being built in the 40's we really wanted to create a space with character and charm. I loved the style of work in her portfolio and really felt those spaces truly reflected the homeowners individual tastes by retaining the home's charm and character. What an absolutely lovely experience working with Denise!
