The fabric Crypton sounds like a very interesting durable fabric also which may also be Green. I'm considering it for my new living room furniture. I'm trying to make my home more pet friendly. I'm going to Calico Corner to check it out this week. Crypton's website is www.Crypton.com if anyone is interested.

In regards to durable fabric options for indoors, does microfiber pass the designer test for living room furniture? Thanks!

When you say "cat proof", do you mean scratch/snag proof?
