Houzz Call: Share Your Thanksgiving Tablescape!
Will your holiday table be set for two or 12 this year? Tell us about your meal and post a picture
Happy Thanksgiving, Houzz readers! If you are hosting dinner and get a spare moment, please take a photo of your tablescape and share it along with a description of your plans in the Comments. Your photos may appear in a future Houzz article, just as we’ve featured some from last year’s conversation here.
Will your dinner be casual or formal this year? How many guests will you have?
Houzz user Christina Jung shared this photo of her table last year, with lovely fall-themed plates. Do you have special china or glassware you always pull out for Thanksgiving dinner? Do they hold special meaning for your family?

Speaking of centerpieces, a hot topic among Houzz readers’ Thanksgiving discussions is centerpiece versus room for serving food on the table. Some like a buffet setup that leaves room on the table for an elaborate centerpiece, while others prefer the communal feeling of passing dishes around the table and having room to leave them there. Which kind of serving style do you prefer?
Will you be celebrating outside this year? The past few years have inspired folks to gather outdoors for the celebration. Flower farmer and florist Linda Doan of Aunt Willie’s Wild Flowers created these beautiful centerpieces from her crops in Tennessee. They add floral elegance to the rustic table, a perfect mix for an outdoor gathering.

Please share your non-food traditions as well. Here we can see that Houzz user Shane‘s family enjoys English Christmas crackers with the paper crowns inside at the Thanksgiving table.
