Home office - traditional freestanding desk medium tone wood floor home office idea in DC Metro with beige walls

Bradley HouseTraditional Home Office, DC Metro

Location: Bethesda, MD, USA We demolished an existing house that was built in the mid-1900s and built this house in its place. Everything about this new house is top-notch - from the materials used to the craftsmanship. The existing house was about 1600 sf. This new house is over 5000 sf. We made great use of space throughout, including the livable attic with a guest bedroom and bath. Finecraft Contractors, Inc. GTM Architects Photographed by: Ken Wyner

I absolutely love this doorway trim, crown molding, and wainscoting. What are these 3 styles called? I'd love this in my house in CA. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

This is a style that we're good at. It's a traditional style. Quite English if you'd ask me.

Can you give me the details on the flooring?

The The hardwood flooring was done by a contractor who we regularly use named Oscar Reyes. You can buy unfinished wood flooring, which is the case with this flooring, and the installer will sand the wood and apply the finish on the job site, which is what we did here.

Very nice work! I really like the pocket door treatment. Did you use stock doors or did you have to have custom doors made?

Thank you for your interest. Sorry for the delayed response. We don't, however, have this info in our records.
