Both the slabs for the counter/splash, and the floor tile are the same limestone material out of Mexico called 'Bacera'. The tiles came 6" x 36" but we used them as 6" x 18". Both slabs and tiles are a honed finish and should be available at your local stone supplier.

Are those recessed medicine cabinets? Who makes them. Love the layout.

No, it is just a mirror that we designed and a local glass company made.

What sinks did you use?

You will have to look at their catalog, models are always changing. typically they offer 2 spout lengths depending on the sink configuration. Look up Dorn Bracht. You should be able to buy at a good discount from an architect or designer like me.

What is the total height of the backsplash?

  • PRO

Depending on the faucet, we either go 8" or 10". This one happens to be 8 to work with the Dorn Bracht faucet we specified.

Hello, how did you finish the top and vertical edges of backsplash?

  • PRO

It's our standard eased edge that is just polished to match the face finish of the slab.

Thanks for your reply. One of the problems I am encountering in planning my bathroom remodel is that the tile I chose does not come in bullnose and I am trying to avoid Schluter strips. Did you use a thru body tile and manually grind down and polish each end tile edge? This sounds labor intensive. Is this not uncommon and a process that I should expect my installer can provide? Thanks, Mike
