I believe it was stained with a Lacquer top coat. The home was built about 14 years ago so sorry if my memory fails me!

That is a convection wall oven from Monogram by GE. Closest match today would be: GE Monogram® 30" Built-In Electric Double Oven
    Model #: ZET958SMSS

What is the flooring?

  • jtman9200
You said that the flooring was Maple. I have never seen Maple that light in my entire life. Is this a special kind of Maple or was that a typo? It looks a lot like Ash to me. Either way the flooring looks great. http://www.nywoodfloors.com

Thanks for the comment. We verified and it is indeed a Maple floor sanded with a clear coat finish. Please consider the lighting for the picture may also be making it appear lighter than it is in reality.

Thank you for asking! The kitchen and custom-built Maple cabinets were designed more than ten years ago. The stain was also a custom blend.

What is good spacing for the pantry shelving?

  • PRO
    Curt Hofer & Associates
The shelving pictured was custom with adjustable shelves to give the homeowner the ability to make the shelves fit their needs.

I'm wondering about the width of the opening. Is it narrow or does the photo only make it appear so?
  • PRO
    Curt Hofer & Associates
The doors are narrower to match other cabinet doors.

Thanks for the question. The pantry is an "L" shape that isn't visible in the picture. The overall length is 11' with the majority of the width being 4'. The bump out portion is an addition 2' to the 4' width.

Thanks for asking. The hinges are a heavy duty cabinet hinge, four per door.

Unfortunately, this is the only picture we have of the doors. The biggest difference will be that a pocket door will look like a door opening versus the swinging doors looking like the other cabinets in the kitchen area making the pantry disappear when closed.

The total opening is the 30" width and the pantry is about 5' deep.

I have uba tuba counter and very similar cabinets that are now honey color and want to redo them - I love this look. Any way you can get more specific about the color applied and how it was done?

  • PRO

Thanks for asking. The home was completed more than 10 years ago and stain formulas have changed considerably since then in an effort to reduce harmful volatile organic compounds. Our best suggestion is to work with an experienced painting professional that can make you some samples either from scrap wood or on an inconspicuous area of an existing cabinet.

Thanks for asking about paint colors. This picture was taken more than 10 years ago and paint has gone through many changes to meet new environmental standards. Our best suggestion is to take the picture to your local paint store and see if they're able to match it.

  • PRO
    Curt Hofer & Associates

Thank you for asking; the home was constructed over 10 years ago so we're unable to determine the exact model. At the time of construction, most homeowners were using the GE Profile or Monogram lines and you'll have to check online to see the latest versions.

Thanks for the questions! To the best of our knowledge the doors are still in great shape and there is no visible warping. The doors were mounted with standard door hinges to the frame. They only swing in one direction so mounting would be similar to a typical door installation.

Thanks for asking but this home was completed over ten years ago. That particular style may have been discontinued. Our best suggestion is to take the picture to a good hardware or specialty store and ask them to match as closely as possible.
