Yes, Larkin is a girl. Beautiful bittersweet chocolate color. She’s 6 1/2 months. Schoko is a boy, he’s 5 1/2 years old. His sister Ruby is Larkin’s mom...so technically they are uncle and niece but I refer to them as brother and sister, lol.
Ironically, their breeder seems to think the dog in the photo (like one in an Orvis catalogue) might be a field bred cocker or a mix. Cute either way!

Interesting! I have noticed that some fields are narrower across the forehead/nose than ours as the picture appears to be. Our breeder is Peter Archer from Ontario Canada. Gracie’s mother is from Canada and her father is from Michigan so she has duel citizenship!

It looks to me this is by a door to outside. I would say

Clever idea. But it does seem unsafe. In an emergency fire and rescue personnel would have a tough time trying to find a dog in the wall! Better for hiding icky cat box.

VERY expensive. anyone know of anything like this for less money?
  • karma4u
It is a strong wire and yes, expensive but looks and performs way better than the treatment it replaces..."Chicken Wire".
If you call around to some cabinet companys they usually will have some extra hanging around as it comes in certain sheet sizes only, and usually the whole sheet is not used. They will usually sell it to you for a lot less than you can buy from a supplier.....just to get rid of stock hanging around.

Very different than a crate. A crate has multiple sides that can be opened, and it can also be lifted in an emergency. This dog is trapped in if a fire occurs in front of the ONE door.

One option to eliminate paper is to scan records into your computer. OMG!!! What if instead of The idea of having crates in a custom-made table or consul, we used the space under the stairs towards the entrance of the house as a space for making both crates like this one?!

Door could be a good idea for a doggy door to outside

Gretchen Davis added this to Emmys Bathroom IdeasMar 16, 2019

The creative idea of this dog house so it’s a dog house in a human house but the dog house is also in the wall so It doesn’t take up a lot of space and when you leave you can just shut the door
